- As of posting this guide (23.6.2023) the game has some bugs & issues on NG+ that it's currently unplayable . So to get missed achievements, you have to either start on new save files or manually backup your save files : C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\LocalLow\Daedalic Entertainment GmbH\ChildrenOfSilentown

- You cannot get Friend Achievement & Cat Achievement in one playthrough because you have to play from Chapter 1 to 4 while fulfilling certain requirements for one of the two. I've written the requirements for Friend Achievement in the walkthrough & I'll mark (*) the lines that you can change for Cat Achievement with my list at the end of the guide.
- While you're only supposed to play Chapter 5 to choose a different ending, the buggy state of NG+ won't allow it so either play again on a new file or make manual backup save files.

- Puzzle solutions are provided on video (Credit goes to Lootward on YouTube) & Screenshots by myself.

- I'm not confident that my guide is perfect but at least I hope I could help out with some easy reference.

- Pick up the Ball and give it to Blue (the boy)
* Let the scene play out & Choose : Cut it out and play by the rules *
- At Lucy's house go upstairs to her room & pick up Lucy's Diary & Toy Mouse
- Leave her room & interact with the Mirror then go downstairs. (Sticker & Egghead Lucy Achievement obtained)
- Talk to Lucy's Mom & get the Saucepan hanging near the entrance then give Mom the Saucepan.
- Give Squinty, The Cat on the Chest, the Toy Mouse. (Note 1/3 Children's Song obtained)
- Take Firewood from Chest then use it on Fireplace.
- Talk to Lucy's Mom, take Candle, use it on Fireplace then go down to Cellar across the stairs.
- Place Candle on the holder next to the door, grab the Sausages by standing underneath it then go upstairs.
- Watch the scene play out.
- Talk to Mom & pick up the Salt by using the Stool from the same spot as the Saucepan then place it under the Salt.
- Watch the Scene.
- Outside on the Left, Interact with Trumpet Looking Thing. (Sticker & Trumpet Achievement obtained)
* By the Pipes, talk to the Old Lady. (Sticker & Lucky Charm Achievement obtained)*
- Interact with the upper right door to get Weird Handle then use it on the Bell. (Note 2/3 Children's Song obtained)
- Scene plays out & Chapter 1 ends (Note 1/3 Mom's Song obtained)

- Watch the opening scene play & choose the singular choices when prompted.
- Pick up Broken Slingshot on the Dresser then go downstairs.
- Watch the scene then go back upstairs to Lucy's Room.
- Click on the Clothes on the Chair twice, Click on Squinty then go downstairs.
- Click on the Chest. (Sticker & Hairball Achievement obtained)
- Talk to Lucy's Mom & grab Grocery List on the table.
- Go outside, Talk to Lucy's friend Sunny then grab Tights from the clothesline.
- Combine Tights & Broken Slingshot to get Sling
- Head lower right to go to town.
- At the center of town, grab Bucket then use it on Well to get Water.
- Talk to Blue on the lower than use Sling on his Ball. (Note 3/3 Children's Song obtained)
- Watch Puzzle 1 in the video for solution.
- Go to the upper red path for the Forest & grab the Mushrooms next to the Gate.
- Go back to center town & head lower left for the Bakery.
- Click on the Box next to the Bakery & click on it again to take it. (Sticker & Broken Toy Achievement obtained)
- Go all the way left & interact with the Spyglass. (Sticker & Spyglass Achievement obtained)
- Knock on the door of the Bakery then check the Grate on the left.
- Use Children's Song on Baker.
- Watch Puzzle 2 in the video for solution.
- Talk to Baker then get Bread & Candy.
- Run back home to Lucy's Room, use Box on Squinty, exit room then go back in. (Note 1/3 Song of the World obtained & Requirements for Cat Achievemnts)
- Run back to center of town then head down, past the guy fishing to Olivia's House.
- Talk to the lady Olivia, run back to town center then head upper right to the Barn.
- Talk to the boy Silver, give him Candy & Choose: I do
- Check Barn Window to climb in, check Right Window & Choose: Let it go
- Check Right Window again, use Sling on tin can below the wood & get Knob.
- Go behind the Barn, to upper left corner & click on markings on grass (Sticker & Mysterious Footprints Achievement obtained)
- Run back home & talk to Sunny.
- Go to Olivia's House, give her Knob & get Veggies.
- Go back home & give Lucy's Mom the Shopping Bag
- Later Scene plays out & get 5 Sandwiches.
- Give Sandwiches to old man on the right & his dog. (Sticker & Puppy Achievement obtained)
* Give Sandwiches to elderly couple in the center & Choose: Let it go *
- Give remaining Sandwich to Olivia or the two men then report to Mom.
*When telling ghost story Choose: *
1) Stealing Corncobs
2) The Farmer's Field
3) A Scarecrow
- Scene plays out & Chapter 2 ends (2 Notes 2/3 Mom's Song & 1/3 Song of the Forest obtained)

- Watch the opening scene play & choose the singular choices when prompted.
- Go downstairs & recieve Message & Doll.
- Talk to Olivia & grab Cookies.
- Click on the Cabinent Squinty is sleeping on to enter Labels Puzzle then get Tea Leaves.
- Watch Puzzle 4 in the video for solution.
- Grab Saucepan from same spot as Chapter 1, use it on water bucket from lower right, use it on Fireplace to get Hot Water.
- Combine Hot Water with Saucepan to get Tea & give it to Olivia.
- Use Children's Song on Olivia.
- Watch Puzzle 3 in the video for solution.
- Go outside & talk to man fixing the pipes. Choose every option.
- Head to town center & Talk to Sunny. Choose every option.
- Grab the Stone covered by the Roof & use it on the Well. (Sticker & Depths of the Well Achievement obtained)
- Try talking to the Old Man nearby.
- Talk to Sunny again, choosing the new options.
- Go back to the Old Man, Talk to him & use Children's Song on him.
- Watch Puzzle 8 in the video for solution.
- Talk to the Old Man again. Choose every option.
- Go behind the Barn, pick up the Rake & talk to Old Lady. Choose every option. (Note 3/3 Mom's Song obtained)
- Use Mom's Song on Hopscotch Court for Puzzle.
- Watch Puzzle 5 in the video for solution.
- Enter the Barn through that same Barn Window & use Mom's Song on Moving Sack.
- Watch Puzzle 6 in the video for solution.
- Talk to Blue & Choose every option.
- Go behind the Barn again & pick up Crate the Old Lady was sitting on.
- Go to lower part of town center, Talk to the other Mean Old Lady, use Children's Song on her & talk to her again.
- Go left to Bakery, talk to Silver, use Children's Song on him & talk to him again.

- Watch Puzzle 9 in the video for solution.
- Return to town center & enter the newly opened Farm on the right.
- Inspect Beehives on the left to get Rusty Key then talk to the farmer Tom about everything.
- Go back to the Barn, use Rusty Key on Toolbox on the left & take Hammer & Hook.
- Go back to the Farm & use Hammer on Rabbit Cages.
- Inspect the Scarecrow (enter the field by the lower left side) & get Peel.
- Go right & use Crate on Cherry Tree to get Branch of Cherries.
- Run back home & use Mom's Song on Hat next to Coal the Dog.
- Watch Puzzle 7 in the video for solution.
- Go to town center, talk to Sunny then give her Branch of Cherries & Rake to get Shears.
- Return home, use Shears on Coal, grab Rope then follow him.
* Give Sunny the Shears back & follow Coal into the Forest.*
- Watch the scene play out then inspect the Gate. (Sticker & Coal's Fur Achievement obtained)
- Go to Bakery & give Silver the Peel.
* Talk to the girl Raven about everything. Choose: You mean the...singing? *
- Talk to Red about everything, Choose: I'll tell everyone you like Sunny
- Win against Red in the Race & talk to him again.
- Talk to Black about everything.
- Win against Black in the Race & talk to him again.
- Go to Barn & talk to Blue again about new options.
- Go to Olivia's House, combine Hook & Rope to get Grappling Hook then use it on the Left Wall.
- Grab the blue Thibescus flower & inspect Olivia's Door. (Sticker & Complicated Padlock Achievement obtained)
- Go back to the Old Man, give him the Thibescus, talk to him, use Mom's Song on Thibescus then talk to him again.
- Watch Puzzle 10 in the video for solution.
- Go home, scene plays out & Chapter 3 ends.

- Watch the opening scene play & choose the singular choices when prompted.
- Grab Hammer on the Dresser, go downstairs & talk to Lucy's Dad.
- Go down the Cellar & take the 2 Corks from the 2 Bottle Crates.
- Go back up, take 3rd Cork from kitchen counter & go outside.
- Interact with Flowing Tap, interact with Red Valve & inspect Pile of Junk on the right.
- Go back in the house & take Bottle of Oil from kitchen counter.
- Go outside & use Bottle of Oil on Red Valve & shut off water.
- Plug the 2 holes on front pipe with 2 Corks & Hammer.
- Turn on water, take newly appeared Cloth & turn off water.
- Combine Cork & Cloth to get Wrapped Cork then use it on last hole on the back pipe.
- Turn on water again & go through the new path.
- Try to take Ladder & click on middle window above the Ladder. (Sticker & Big Metal Ruler Achievement obtained)
- Use Hammer on right window to get Shard of Glass then use it on Ladder.
- Watch the scene play out. (Note 2/3 Song of the Forest obtained)
- At town center, click on Silver behind the Well.
- Go to Farm to Cherry Tree, pull the Rope & grab bowl of Fake Spiders.
- Go inside Barn & click on Note. (Sticker & Blue's Drawing Achievement obtained)
- Go to Forest, click on Sunny & use Children's Song on her
- Watch Puzzle 11 in the video for solution.
* Inspect the Forest Gate on the right then talk to Sunny. Choose: I'll protect you *
- Head to Lucy's House & use Mom's Song on Wooden Trumpet.
- Watch Puzzle 12 in the video for solution.
* Talk to Black, put Fake Spiders on his first hiding place & talk to him again.*
- Head back to town center & during the scene Choose: Cunning is more important
* Go to the Bakery & talk to Raven at the far left. Choose: Uh, Yes of course!*
- Inspect the pile of straws in front of the Bakery then enter it.
- Talk to Blue & (optional) use Mom's Song on Fire.
- Watch Puzzle 13 in the video for solution.
* Move towards right behind Blue & inspect the gap. (Note 2/3 Song of the World obtained) *
* Return to town center, Choose: Okay*
- Watch scene play.
- In the Forest, try to get Doll from white squirrel (I don't know) & get Branch.
- Use Children's Song on Blue Vine.
- Watch Puzzle 14 in the video for solution.
- Try to climb Blue Vine, get Vine & take Gross Fruit.
- Inspect Red Vines on lower right & use Mom's Song on it.
- Watch Puzzle 15 in the video for solution.
- Use Shard of Glass on the Statue that just closed its eyes.
- Go down again, then right & grab Giant Snail.
- Combine Giant Snail with Gross Fruit to get Sticky Snail then use it on the upper left rock.
- Before following the white squirrel, click on Sticky Snail. (Sticker & Huge Snail Achievement obtained)
- Go down & follow the white squirrel to the new area.
- Keep moving right until you reach stealth segment.
- Try to move right again then grab the Skull.
- Don't step on red light when sneaking around.
- Go up to second floor then move all the way left.
- Combine Skull & Vine to get Skull Hook then use it on the spring twice.
- Go back center, move back down to first floor & move right quickly by pulling vines to blind the monster.
- Use Children's Song on Blue Vine.
- Watch Puzzle 16 in the video for solution.
- Sneak back to center & move up to second floor.
- Pull vines to sneak right & use Mom's Song on Red Vines.
- Watch Puzzle 17 in the video for solution.
- Sneak back to center & move up to third floor.
- Sneak right & use Mom's Song on Red Vines.
- Move upwards & try to use Mom's Song on the Red Vines.
- Move back, inspect nearby Vine & use Branch on it.
- Use that Vine again, QUICKLY move up & use Mom's Song on the Red Vines.
- Go lower right, use Mom's Song on the remaining red vine above & take Weird Artifact from red vines next to Lucy.
- Before moving on, use Mom's Song on Red Vines, go all the way left, use Weird Artifact on the Tree & click on the left spot inside. (Sticker & Old Kettle Achievement obtained)
- Go all the way back to the right & use Weird Artifact on the Door to move on.
- Watch the scene play out.
- Click on the plant's tendrils (I think it's random but try 2nd twice, 5th, 6th, 1st then 4th) & go inside.
- Keep going right until screen is white.
- Move upwards a bit & move right then up to interact with Bed of Flowers. (Sticker & Flower of Hope Achievement obtained)
- Go back, keep going upwards, inspect the Tree & Choose: Insert Hand
- Watch the scene. (Note 3/3 Song of the Forest obtained)
- There's no solution in the video so I've provided a screenshot:



- Keep moving forward upwards
- Escape the maze by choosing a path that's not covered by fog & matching the Songs to the correct birds then follow them:
1) Children's Song for Blue Bird
2) Mom's Song for Red Bird
3) Song of the Forest for Green Bird
- Watch the scene.
- Leave Lucy's Room, use Mom's Song on the Red Vines & enter Parents' Room.
- Watch Puzzle 18 in the video for solution.
- Use Song of the Forest on Wardrobe.

- Inspect the Letterbox, check Mail in Inventory to get Small Key & Message you need to read.
- Go back in the house & use Small Key on Music Box to get Bronze Key & 2 Messages.
- Go upstairs to Parents' Room & use Bronze Key on Wardrobe's Bottom Drawer.
- Read the papers & watch the scene.
- In Lucy's Room grab Sock, Bed Sheet, Blanket, Empty Jar on the Dresser & Emergency Cookies in right drawer.
- Combine Empty Jar & Emergency Cookies to get Jar of Cookies.
- Combine Bed Sheet & Blanket to get Makeshift Rope then use it on window & exit through it.
- Chapter 4 ends.

- Go left & grab Bark from the dead looking tree.
- Try going further left & inspect the Plant with Fireflies.
- Use Jar of Cookies on Stream on the right to get Sweet Jar then use it on Fireflies.
- Go left & inspect the Hollow Tree Trunk. (Sticker & Doll Achievement obtained)
- Use Bark on Waterfall.
- Inspect the Windmill. (Sticker & Windmill Achievement obtained)
- Use the Controls to move Canal (from the left) on 2nd mark. Move lower left twice.
- Use Song of the Forest on the water dripping from up.

- Go left, grab Basin Covered in Sand, backtrack then use it on the newly appeared Statue & take Shard.
- Return to Windmill, use Control to set Canal on 3rd mark. Move lower left.
- Click on the vines ( right, left, right, left, right, left) & take Shard.
- Return to Windmill & set Canal on 4th mark. Go lower left twice then right.
- Use Children's Song on Blue Plant next to the Beehive tree.
- Watch Puzzle 20 in the video for solution.
- Use Fire Iron to take Wax from the tree.
- Combine Wax & Sock to get Waxed Sock then use it on the Basin.
- Click on the vines (right, middle twice, left) & take Shard.
- Return to Windmill, insert 3 Shards on upper left wall, push lever, enter the half open door & move right.
- Go left, use Mom's Song on Red Vines & keep going left.
- Watch Puzzle 21 in the video for solution.
- When screen is black click bottom left.
- Grab Rock & use it on monster.
- Watch scene play out.
- The Song Commands for the White Monster:
1) Children's Song to sit still
2) Mom's Song to follow Lucy
3) Song of the Forest to assist Lucy
- After that tutorial, have the White Monster assist Lucy up the tree with the Fruit (it has to stand under the tree) then use Fire Iron on the Fruit.
- Climb up the stone column to get Weird Rune.
- Have White Monster sit still, go right, use Song of the Forest on the leafy wall then insert Weird Rune.

- Call the White Monster & enter the new path.
- Have White Monster stand on one of the floor buttons & Lucy stands on the other.
- Call White Monster, enter the new path & inspect the cave drawings. (Sticker & Mysterious Paintings Achievement obtained)
- Inspect the Steel with Writing on the right & have White Monster help Lucy climb up.
- Outside use Fire Iron on Tree on the right to enter next area.
- Grab Small Basin, place it on Statue, click on vines (left, middle, right, left, right) & go to Windmill
- Use Controls to set Canal on 1st mark, go back to that same Statue & take Shard.
- Return to Windmill, use Shard on upper left wall & push lever.
- Set Canals on 5th mark then move lower left & then all the way right.
- Click on vines (left to right: 1st, 3rd, 4th, 2nd), have Lucy & White Monster stand on both floor buttons & take Shard.
- Move left, down & the right to where Beeswax Statue is & go left behind the rocks.
- Have White Monster help Lucy up to interact with Thibescus Field. (Note 3/3 Song of the World obtained)
- Return to Windmill, insert Shard in Slot right of the Controls then climb up to the right.
- Underground, have White Monster follow Lucy, make it grab Vine on the right tree, make it drop the vine to Lucy, make it sit still, tie vine on the boulder, make White Monster move right, move left & then make it pull vine again.
- Click down 4 times.
- Watch the final scene play out.

There are Four Endings:
- Choose Children's Song for Children Ending & Achievement
- Choose Mom's Song for Back Home Ending & Achievement
- Choose Song of the Forest for Forest Howl Ending & Achievement
- Choose Song of the World for Hope Ending & Achievement

I'll provide Friend Achievement & Cat Achievement Requirements separate from the walkthrough & the (*) on the walkthrough indicates where the requirements occur. Different choices & actions will show difference in dialogues as well. Aside from playing from Chapter 1 to 4, here are the requirements:

Friend Achievement:
- Choose: Cut it out and play by the rules
- Choose: I do
- Choose: Let it go (Don't tell Olivia)
- Choose: Let it (Do the elderly couple)
- During the Ghost Story choose:
1) Stealing Corncobs
2) The Farmer's Field
3) A Scarecrow
- Choose: You mean the...singing?
- Give Shears back to Sunny.
- Choose: I'll protect you
- Find Black before Raven & tell her you found him
- Talk to Blue during Hide & Seek.
- If done right, one of Lucy's Friends will appear near the end of Chapter 4.


Cat Achievement:
- Choose: Show me what you got!
- Talk to Old Lady when she's petting Squinty.
- Choose: No just asking.
- Choose: Tell Olivia
- Give Squinty the Box
- Choose: React (to elderly couple)
- During the Ghost Story choose anything but the choices I listed.
- Choose: I don't know what you mean.
- Don't give Shears back to Sunny.
- Find Raven before finding Black & lie to her that you found him.
- Choose: You'll be fine! You're strong!
- Don't talk to Blue at all & end Hide & Seek without him.
- If done right, Squinty will appear near the end of Chapter 4.
