Bridget from Guilty Gear is now playable in Rivals of Aether!
Trailer sucks and so do the ported sprites, I know. I definitely prioritized the gameplay with this one.
Use long-range disjointed attacks, quick movement options, and fast combo starters to out-maneuver and hunt down the competition! Just be careful, as she takes much more knockback than the average character.

Bridget's normals range from short-range pokes to long-range punishes, and because of this she can string together moves quite easily.
Bridget's neutral special is Stop and Dash, a move where she throws her yo-yo forward. This projectile is fairly weak, but sends at a good angle for combos. Unlike in Guilty Gear, the projectile does not stay for long, and thus Rolling Movement has no interaction with it. This move has a short internal cooldown.
Bridget's side and up specials are Rolling Movement, a move where she spins forwards or upwards. Both versions have internal cooldowns that reset upon hitting the ground. Additionally, the up version cooldown resets on walljump or when hit, while the side version resets upon using the up version. This allows Bridget to move long distances quickly, and additionally, since this move can be cancelled into jumps and attacks, she can attack while moving at high speeds.
Bridget's down special is the final hit of Loop the Loop, where Roger falls from the sky to slam into the opponent. Unlike the Guilty Gear version, this move doesn't do a lot of damage and has significantly increased startup, however if it hits, the angle it sends at is good for combos. This move has a long internal cooldown.
