[WOTC] Raider Relations

Description
Increases the immersion of the Raider Faction Bases mod by creating real relationships with each raider faction. Allying with a raider faction costs a lot of resources and manpower but will provide great benefit, while making an enemy of them will create a raider faction that you will want to destroy!

This will effect all raider factions with bases. I added a DLC Name exclusion list that you can edit in the RaiderRelations.ini so that when you load this mod for the first time, those raider DLC names that you list are ignored for this mod. That is in the event that you don't want a raider faction to be in this mod.

Each raider relation is tracked by score from 0 - 100 between XCom AND other raider factions. You can not interact with a Raider Faction until their base has been discovered.

The starting relation level is neutral with a score of 50, which is default behavior, but with each relation level change there is a new raider activity. Each raider activity stacks when going below neutral or above neutral. In other words, for every level above neutral there is a different bonus activity, while every level below neutral there is a new negative activity. Raider levels and their activities are as follows:

0 - Shoot on Sight
Increases chances of raiders showing up as Sitrep (Default 40% increase)
1 - At War
Raider sitrep joins the Alien team and fight against Xcom only
2 - Very Hostile
Chance of raider interference on covert actions in their continent, which prevents any rewards on the action
3 - Hostile
Supplies stolen each month for supply drops on their continent
4 - Indifferent
Chance of raider ambush on covert actions in their continent, same as advent ambush but with the raider faction soldiers
5 - Neutral
None
6 - Amicable
Provides a small daily intel bonus
7 - Friendly
Get access to raider weapons and items for a cheap price, on activation won't be available until the next supply drop, refreshes every month, won't always be able to equip the goods but can sell at black market for a small profit
8 - Very Friendly
Faction sitrep joins the resistance and fights alongside of XCom as team resistance
9 - Allied
Increases chances of raiders showing up as Sitrep (Default 40% increase)
10 - Brotherhood
Chance of a raider agent joining XCom for each mission (33% by default)

For every tier above neutral there is a reduction in covert action time (3% by default, maximum 15%) in their region and for every tier below neutral there is an increase in covert action time.

There are only three ways to increase your relation with raider faction. Two of these can be accessed through the Commanders Quarters with a new Raider Relation Management Screen:
1. Give Tribute - by default, 40 supplies increases the score by 3
2. Provide Intel - by default, 16 intel increases the score by 3
3. Help the Raiders on a covert action, by default gain 3 to your score for every soldier that you send.

There are things that upset a raider faction and reduce their score with XCom:
1. Soldiers killed during battle - default 2.25 points for every soldier, even if the raider soldiers are fighting alongside XCom. It doesn't matter who killed them either, if they died while XCom was around then it is your fault. Goal is to keep the Raider faction alive during battle by helping them. Your relation could drop quickly if you don't.
2. Supply raid, extract supplies, and downed UFO missions performed in their region. The raider factions want these for themselves. (by default score drops by 10 which is an entire relation level)
3. Trying any of the raider base missions will result in a score drop on top of any killed soldiers. (by default 5 points for data retrieval, 10 points for locating the raider base, and 100 points for attempting to destroy the base and failing).
4. Ignoring a Raider Factions request to join them on a covert action against another Raider Faction (resulting score drop will be one-half of the amount that you would have received if you chose to go on the action)

Score Scaling - if you have fewer than 7 (default value can be changed in the config) faction bases installed than the relation scoring will scale for every faction below 7. This balances the campaign because it is easier to build relations with fewer Raider bases installed. See the XComRaiderBases.ini for more info.

Finally the relation score will adjust depending on your relationship with unfriendly factions. Since each faction has a relation score with other factions, their attitude with XCom will change depending on who you ally or make enemies with. This happens automatically each day by a small amount.

Along with Raider activities, which is the main feature of the mod, each raider faction receives a positive and a negative specialty, which will make each faction unique.

POSITIVE SPECIALTIES
Espionage - Grants Additional Bonus to intel bonus (1 intel daily be default)
Personnel - Grants access to soldiers along with gear
Stocked - Grants additional items each month (1 by default)
Anti-Advent - Start off with a higher relationship score
None - does nothing

NEGATIVE SPECIALTIES
Stubborn - Relationship score goes up more slowly
Greedy - receive additional mission penalties for other mission types in region
Ambitious - Their power spreads to the entire continent, any supply raid, extract supplies, and downed UFO missions performed in their continent drop their relation score with XCom
Bounty Hunter - Raider Capture replaces raider ambush on covert actions, have to take out base to retrieve soldiers or get a level 7 relation
None - does nothing

Once a base is destroyed than the raider relation is removed from this mod, and any captured soldiers will be returned.

This is safe to add mid campaign.

Compatibility
Not compatible with LWOTC.
DO NOT CHANGE THE DISPLAY NAMES OF THE RAIDER FACTIONS IN XCOMRAIDERBASES.INI. THAT IS USED TO TIE IN THIS MOD WITH RAIDER BASES.

COMPANION MODS
Raider and Resistance Strategic Spawning - Raider sitrep groups will spawn near the edge of the map and work their way towards the objective, rather than spawning directly on to the objective.

Yellow Alert Gameplay v2.0, with the option for AI Sight activation enabled. This would activate the groups when they spot each other.

Or if you want the standalone AI to AI Activation Mod

CONSOLE COMMANDS

For those of you who need to unlock the blocked chain, If you are using the mod CI Chain: Hunt the Chosen, there is a console command ChosenChain_SpawnActivityChain that can be used to restore the activity chain. You can even start at whatever stage you want with that command.

There are a few console commands, the main one that you can use is RaiderRelationsPrintStates while in strategy.
This will log a bunch of information about reach Raider faction, relation scores, specialties, region location, etc.
All console commands start with RaiderRelation - if you need to enter a faction name then use the display name located in that mods RaiderBases.ini.

@alena - I added support for that and add the sitrep to the config so that it counts them as killed soldiers.

I am actually curious, so in the SCP Foundation mod, there's a sitrep that entirely replaces ADVENT forces with the MTF units from that faction, if you are friendly with them, what sort of interaction would that cause? Would you still lose reputation for fighting them if they are technically in the "ADVENT" faction, or would you be able to have that specific sitrep be disabled if allied?

On my main save it would only have 5 no matter what. My new save works.

Are you sure that you have discovered more than 5 bases? They should be pinned on the map.

Also i was wrong it shows 5
Medpac13 25 Jun @ 11:09am
It won't if you have every raider faction

The list should be able to scroll?

@RedDope is there a way to allow the relation list to show more than 4 factions?

You can tweak the settings, but they all start at the same setting. And it’s only during the campaign start.

Oh okay I get it now, can I tweak settings so some start off friendly ?
