Description
Manufacturer: [HDI] Hephaestus Defense Industries

Association: [ARDN] Artemis Republic Defense Navy

Series Line: Obsidio Series

Ship Class: Corvette

Registry #: 312

Ship Name: Parvus

Designation: OS-CT-312 Parvus

The Parvus is a named ship having served with distinguished merits over Titan orbital space. Hailing from the Obsidio Class, a blockade class of ships in service to the [ARDN] forces. The smallest in the series that acts as a patrolling ship, escort to larger vessels, and at times, even used to bolster the Anulus fleets when needed. During the latter assignments, it is registered as a Heavy Cruiser instead of a Corvette. All Obsidio Class ships are larger than standard fleet ships due to the long term and hazardous nature of their deployment.

Used primarily to cordon off large reaches of space, entry/exit of planetary/moon space, and as a deterrent to invading forces, all Obsidio Class ships are equipped with heavy ordinance, long range strike capabilities, and the most advanced propulsion technology developed by [HDI] with regular refitting as convenient.

Asymmetrical, multi deck design allows the ship to hold all the necessary features to support a crew for long term assignments and to avoid internal vital clusters. Redundant systems allow for continued operation even under extreme damage. Back up and auxiliary power systems keeps the ships active long after the crew may have perished due to lack of supplies or damage.

\\\\\\\\\\\\ LORE ////////////

The Obsidio Class ships, the name taken from Latin meaning Blockade, were developed in response to the possibility of outside forces invading Artemis. Previous contact with [ONRC] showed that while the Anulus and Omega Series ship lines were technically adequate to resist them, it would come at heavy losses. As such, the Obsidio Class ships were developed to ensure that even a threat like before would effectively meet an iron wall if it were to happen again. Notable deployments of the Obsidio fleets include the extrasolar contact from the SDI faction that found themselves entering the system from the other side while being chased by the Alaryian hostiles. Due to the overwhelming show of force displayed by deploying 3 of the 5 existing fleets at the time, both factions were able to be forced into compliance and restrained with minimal damage to the [ARDN] fleets. Up to and including current time, 3 fleets rotate out and patrol both Titan and the planet it orbits to ensure that neither group reaches out and mingles with the local population of Artemis. To date, only 4 ships have been lost in the Obsidio lineup. All 4 did so after exhausting their armaments and taking significant damage from opposing Alaryan forces. One of which sacrificed itself to intercept an incoming ordinance volley aimed at the strike carrier it was assigned to protect. Unfortunately, the enemy managed to strike a critical point within the ship, dealing damage to the CIC where the pilots were lost and the ship going dark as a result. It and the other three were retrieved to prevent the technology from being obtained by the hostile forces.

No, it is an error that occurs because I build often in a world eith a particular skybox and when you paste it into a world without it, that message pops up. I do not build with mods so you can paste it freely. I will say that the ship is outdated and needs a good reworking.

Why does this say "pasted ship has parts not in this world". Is there a mod this uses?

Been working on a station build throughout the week so far, but I still have a long way to go on it. The goal is to have the core design done this week, but optional expansion modules will take more time. Its been years since I last attempted a station of my own, so I wanted to make a new modernized one with the updated block options the game has now.

Ooo can't wait to see it!

Yay! :)
On note of the window, I managed to figure it out last night and it even gave me a few ideas too for combining with the transparent and holo LCD blocks.

It will soon be released. Look forward to it!

Certainly a lot of neat ship designs in the ARDN navy thus far. I will admit though I am little curious as to what happened to the station which received a spotlight here, did anything happen to it at one point? I'm also interested as well in those viewing windows and was trying to figure out how that was held together, it flowed together quite nicely.

She is indeed. I took i to consideration the feedback from the last one and did some upgrading.

Hey Sev, nice ship as always. By Orbital, did you mean that station? It looks quite a bit more functional than the last one. I look forward to the posting of it!

Hey thanks for letting me know. I'll fix that tonight and make a note here when it is updated.
