I'm not on a programmer level where I could write proper scripts of my own, so everything I make is heavily reliant on the maps I'm working with, and the "special playable characters" placed inside them.
As such, non of them are multiplayer compatible (not even Co-op, so naturally, online party wouldn't work either).
This janky rift is single player only, so trying going "off-line" and then trying again.
what doesn't work? The "passing through the ceiling" bit?
If that is the case, try turning Console Commands on in the options.
The player is temporarily put in the "ghost" state when ascending, that's what allows you to pass through solid objects.
