Plenty of units cannot interact with walls though, like cav and chariots. So maybe it's possible to take away the ladder ability from every unit that has it.

I think a complete ladder removal is impossible. I believe I saw somewhere they're hard coded into the game. The only way, basically, is to make all of the wall sections that accepts ladders into gates. Not exactly optimal. I think these climbing speed mods are as close as we'll get. Sadly.

Great work, though. I'm seeing this one as an absolutely essential mod in my modlist right now.

Yes, I'd like to see if there is a possibility of a complete ladder removal, too.

I will have to look at complete ladder removal, but find them on this speed to be quite balanced with the 360 tower mod I made. The enemy often lose 50+% of the unit while climbing.

Regarding making a mod for faster ladders, I am only going to be working on mods that give sieges a more medieval 2 feeling, so in 99% of cases, making things harder for the attacker.

Any chance you could make a mod to do the opposite of this one? So increase ladder climb speed without the extra fatigue.
