Get Students and Archivists While Researching

Description
This mod just removes the requirement to stop researching to get a chance to get research followers after a battle and also allows them to be generated after a battle on turn one, which vanilla WH3 did not allow for.

Full credit should go to Nakhthorheb, who wrote this mod. He just asked me to go ahead and publish it for him.

Updated mod, it should work again. Let me know if you see any issues as I play High Elves so I never get Students. =)

I've unlisted the mod for now. Nakhthorheb is not modding at this time and I'm not sure I know what to do to fix the mod. I'll leave it on the workshop in case I can actually get adhd meds and dig into the code.

According to *****lord447, in vanilla now you can only get a student on the turn you finish a tech.

I forgot what they changed tbh. I wasn't able to play for a few months and just got back.

So is this mod no longer necessary now because already in vanilla? I haven't played in a while, so I don't know what the current state of the game is like. Thanks in advance!

Hi Thanks for all your mods.
What Zarrk is referring to is CA modified the code for the Kislev priest of taal and ursun (starting at line 3273) lines 3278 and 3289(a new line was also added at 3288). You can see the changes by opening up CA's "script/campaign/wh3_campaign_followers.lua" in the data.pack file (in folder data). I don't know if these are the only changes.
Honestly, in my opinion, the best way to keep this mod update would be to replace your lua file with CA's new one then just change the student and archivist lines at 1393 and 1429(current locations) to "return true;" (ignore "s).

@Zarrk While I did not write this mod (I just published it for someone else) I believe that is something I can probably update. But I will be going in a bit blind. If you can tell me what to look for or some line numbers that will help a lot.
