Mechanical Humanlikes Core[MHC]

Mechanical Humanlikes Core (MHC) is a framework mod built off of Humanoid Alien Races (HAR) and Harmony to allow pawns of humanlike intelligence to be mechanical in nature and accounting for a number of vanilla issues around that. It also allows for mechanical animals in the same vein.

This mod itself does very little except pave the way for other mods to have mechanical colonists - primarily, for android tiers reforged, but also available and extensible by other modders. Mod settings can configure other races to be considered mechanical and use this mod as a baseline to implement further properties.

1.4 Only
This mod is the 1.4 version of my works, and is affiliated with my submods Android Tiers Reforged Core and the mods beneath it. It has been succeeded by Artificial Beings Framework: https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3284097810 for version 1.5 of RimWorld.

Want to translate MHC to your own language? Go to the GitHub (linked below) and submit a pull request. I make no guarantees that languages besides English will have mistakes corrected in a timely manner.

Features:
  • Introduction of a generic mechanical colonist and animal system.
  • Extensive mod settings to configure options and races as mechanical.
  • Reliance on mod extensions for extensibility and xml access.
  • Mechanical specific mechanics like maintenance and special needs configurable via xml and settings.
  • Support for Zombieland - all mechanical units are immune to zombification and will not attract their attention. It's a great mod made by the creator of Harmony - it's one of my favorites!

Reconstituted code of work done primarily by Atlas and aRandomKiwi with support from many others.
Reforged because I wanted it done.

To whom it may concern:
The 1.5 version of this mod is separate and has been released: https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3284097810

This version will remain in 1.4 only and will receive updates only if/when GitHub pull requests are submitted and accepted (such as for translations). My other submods will be brought to 1.5 as new versions under a new "brand" name to continue the decoupling from Android Tiers. The current ETA for those versions is sometime this next weekend.

As always, please bring all feedback to Discord, as I do not monitor the Steam workshop.

so.... why has this mod been squeezed out and rebranded 6 times maybe we would actually have something on time if we didnt recode the whole damn thing for 2% more efficiency like jfc absurd that this mod has gotten this broken at this point used to be so solid and bug free tragic experience
