Boron Connections

Description
Adds several new gates connecting Boron sectors to the rest of the universe. Two versions, one that requires 7thCore's Sector Farnham's Legend and one that sticks to vanilla/official expansion sectors.

Disclaimer: Gates only properly activate with a new save, if you want them active with an existing save, you need to open the various zones xml files and edit out the block setting the gates to inactive. I can upload already modified versions if people need them.

New Gates
Ocean of Fantasy < - > Getsu Fune
Watchful Gaze < - > Emperor's Pride
Atreus' Clouds < - > Silent Witness I (Farnham's Legend if using Farnham Legend version)

I would also like to know if the gates are active or not. I would prefer them to be not active. I would also request if these gate modes could be split up into seperate mods. I really only want ocean of fantasy to Getsu Fune (with no active gates initially)

so are the gates active at the start of a game, or do they activate when you do the boron story?

Thank you very much for creating this mod! <3 How exactly do you make the gates active for an existing save? Maybe the modified versions would help but I am not very versed in modding myself. ^^;

Honestly, it sounds like this mod isn't for you. If you want to make those current changes for your own use, go right ahead!

Actually, dumb question; is it possible to make a save with this mod, but then immediately change the XML settings to re-lock the Getsu Fune and Emperor's Pride gates to prevent a possible Xenon invasion of Boron space? If so, while a bit of busywork, it'd at least provide an alternative to an entirely separate mod until such time as a relatively performance-friendly alternative comes along.

Ideally though, Ateus's Clouds to Silent Witness I being the sole connection would be the best, as it provides a stable-ish loop between Boron space and the regular superhighway systems, with Xenon sectors being several jumps away and behind several non-Xenon sectors, thus preventing the Boron from being annihilated by Xenon without them also wiping out other factions in the process.

Mod would be a lot better if the Emperor's Pride connection was removed. Seriously, Boron sectors are great for having almost no Xenon infesting them, why taint that with a connection to a Xenon sector that will likely roflstomp the poor Boron out of existence without a suitable Xenon nerf mod?

Getsu Fune is also iffy due to its direct connection to Savage Spur, but it's less problematic as that's not a DIRECT connection to Xenon-infested space. Also, it's less pointless as Watchful Gaze is already hooked up to Heretic's End, which is only a few jumps away from Emperor's Pride, thus making another connection to there stupid as hell; at least Getsu Fune is a really frickin long way away by comparison, thus making the connection less of a pointless detour.
