Description
"Good news, the check cleared. It's go time."
- Mercs Announcer

IMPORTANT:
This mod relies on custom shaders to work properly - you MUST have X2WOTCCommunityHighlander installed when using mods with custom shaders!

*Please note that the "Calmer Colors" mod is not a requirement. It is merely a suggestion, as it makes darker colors such as grey and black available as secondary color options (as seen in the above screenshots).

Lore:
"Commander, we've picked up an encoded signal from a heavily encrypted source on one of our communications channels. It appears a well-equipped band of mercenaries wishes to offer us their services. Our scouts have been reporting rumors and whispers of rogue operatives taking scores against ADVENT all throughout this region for weeks now, and it appears they hold some truth, as their very own captain has come out of hiding to confirm. Apparently, ransacking alien blacksites and ambushing ADVENT supply convoys is their way of getting our attention. A little bombastic, but I certainly like their style. They claim to be discreet, efficient, expertly trained, and are more than ready to assist us in our fight against the Elders... erm, for a modest fee, of course. Their rates are a little steep, but if their reputation is any proof of their capabilities, then I'd say they're underselling themselves. Well, what do you think, Commander? Should we write them a check?"

The Mercs were my favorite faction to play as in Black Ops 2, and always got me hyped to win whenever I heard their announcer at the start of a match. These guys are supremely badass, and I'm proud that I got to be the one to bring them to the X2 workshop. I tried my best to make them as customizable as possible, so you can mix and match torsos, legs, and torso gears to your heart's content. This took me a long time to put together, so I really hope you have fun using these guys.

I don't really care for the SEALs, their armor was always a bit uninteresting to me.

Do you plan on doing the seals next? I think that's the only faction that is missing here :re2raccoon:

I do, but I'm a bit backed up with them at the moment. You can go to my profile and find my Discord @ in my bio if you wish to submit a commission request. I won't be able to take it immediately, but I'll get back to you when I can.

Do you take commissions?

Hmm, I’m not sure why that is. Each of my COD armor mods have support for all armor tiers, so there’s no reason they shouldn’t be showing up. I’ve never encountered this issue before, so unfortunately I don’t have any solutions readily available.

Hey bro, loving your mods so far! I have a question/concern tho... Im not sure why but I can only apply the COD skins to one of my soldiers, the other ones do not have the customization options and Im not sure why. Thanks again!

This man going the extra mile to reduce a 47 MB file to a 40 MB one. The legend. Thank you so much for doing this.
