update: forgot to add this but they also appear in a flashback during alien covenant too.

btw the space jockeys are also called engineers. they come from Prometheus, the prequel to alien covenant and the rest of the alien films. a chestbursted engineer corpse also appears in alien too. but only as a corpse.
