"Blood Night" is an expansion to the original game "Gothic 2 Night of the Raven" in which the unnamed hero becomes an involuntary vampire and must see how he can survive.
A new story arc is embedded with two vampire guilds to join.

There are also several new quests with existing NPCs (you are automatically addressed by them, so that the tedious quest search is no longer necessary), magic weapons, potions, artifacts, spells and new armor.
Furthermore, there is an in-game difficulty controller that adjusts the strength of the monsters. All you have to do is let the maid in town speak to you.

A main aspect of the mod is the gameplay changed by being a vampire: You have to regularly consume blood that you receive from your victims and fill into bottles (approx. every 40 minutes real time). During the day you can only be outside with the help of a magic cloak, otherwise you will be burned.
There is both mana and life energy regeneration.
