tbh i don't remember if i used the fireaxe from default l4d2 or from the update folder ( last stand ), i will have to check.

But that problem was already fixed in Last stand update

it's not a bug if you use high fov( 70++) , you are just seeing the top of the firstperson survivor's shoulders, game is not meant to played above a certain fov
