Welcome to Bourstrange!


Notices:

This map resides in (40,41,42)X(29,30) which is Northeast of the rail yard outside of Muldraugh.

Please remember to subscribe to the required tilepacks, and to add them to your server :)

This map is known to conflict with: Monmouth County(not Legacy Monmouth), Lake Cumberland (not New Lake Cumberland). Again, Legacy Monmouth and New Lake Cumberland should work fine with this map.

Bourstrange was a thriving city known for its vibrant music scene and exciting racing festivals.
The vibes were broken when a mysterious virus began to spread rapidly throughout the city. The virus turned people into ravenous creatures, and they quickly overtook the streets, attacking anyone in their path.The outbreak happened to coincide with a popular music festival and local racing event. Many of the festival goers and racing enthusiasts could not evacuate fast enough adding to the chaos and panic.

Bourstrange proper is surrounded by water, with bridges connecting it to the outside world. However, as the virus spread, the authorities quickly closed off the city, trapping those still alive inside.The military quickly established an outpost on a nearby island and attempted to contain the outbreak, but it was too late.

Days turned to weeks, and the situation in Bourstrange grew increasingly dire.The city was now completely overrun by aggressive decomposing creatures. Those who survived the initial outbreak are forced to live in constant fear as they attempt to scavenge what meager supplies they can. Food and supplies were scarce, and many began to turn on each other in the struggle for survival.

Despite the desperate situation, there were still those who refused to give up hope.Some formed small communities and attempted to rebuild, while others risked their lives to try and find a way out of the city. However, with the bridges guarded or blocked by the military and the boundaries of the waters around the city swarming with ravenous creatures escape seemed impossible.

This is your story. This is how you died.
