Description

Umbrella Security is an organization under the control of Umbrella Headquarters.

The USS was founded as a defense facility containing classified biotechnology for the US military. Facilities such as the Arklay Lab maintain small garrisons to protect them from intruders. In addition, the USS was used in undercover operations where agents reporting directly to Umbrella headquarters were ordered to kill or arrest any threats to the company. The first known incident occurred in 1988, when Dr. James Marcus was assassinated by two operatives on the orders of the corporation's CEO, Dr. Spencer. In 1993, the USS military training center was moved to Rockfort Island under the command of Lord Ashford. At the same time, a concentration camp was built to guard Umbrella's enemies.
