First of all, make absolutely sure to check this guide: Grand Theft Auto IV: Fixed Edition (NBPack). It has all the information about the mod pack, and all credits go to the author of the guide and people mentioned in that guide.

This mod pack works great in 2023 and makes the game experience much more enjoyable, so big thanks to the people who put the effort into making the mods and collecting a mod pack. But there is one problem: the downloadable link is hosted on the Mega file exchange service and downloading the 7GB file for free from this site could be a pain in the ass (I've downloaded ~4GB, then had to wait about 5 hours and then was able to download the remaining 3GB).

I've seen many requests to provide a Google Drive link, so I've created a separate account just for that (there is only 15GB available for free on the Google accounts, so this 7GB mod pack takes almost a half straight away).

Archive is available here.[drive.google.com] Only GTA IV 1TH YEAR NBPack (2 July 2021) mentioned in the main guide is available in the archive, I didn't download the GTA IV JUN/2020 NBPack v2.2, so it's not available through my link.

UPD May 18, 2023: The mod pack has been confirmed to work with Linux thanks to the fellow player that goes by the nickname of Slowsaz!

Several notes about the archive (paragraph #1 updated May 6, 2023):

1. The link will present you with two options:

• Option 1 - you can download the full archive (~7GB) in one go as a single file. This is better done with a good internet connection, because if something goes wrong while downloading the file, you will have to start the download process from the very beginning.

• Option 2 - I've divided the main archive into 8 parts up to 1GB each. This is a good alternative if your internet connection is not stable, so you can download parts 1 by 1. Make sure to download all 8 parts into the same folder. Afterwards, unzip only the 001 archive - remaining 7 parts will be used up automatically in the process. As the result, you will get the GTA IV 1TH YEAR NBPACK-MAIN.7z which should be added to the game's folder and unzipped with overwriting the files (probably except for one file, see the paragraph #2).

** Please note that the source archive from Mega service has a RAR extension. But in order to upload both options I had to compress the files with a stronger tool (and in fact barely made it - 14,73GB out of 15GB available for free on the Google Disk), so now all files have 7Z format.

2. The mod pack didn't work for me the first time I unzipped and overwritten the files. The game simply launched and hanged. I had to force Integrity Check through the Steam to overwrite modded files back with the original ones in order to make the game work again. On my second try I followed the advice of not overwriting the GTAIV.exe file and everything worked like a charm. So in case you don't want to risk doing the Integrity Check and downloading extra 3-4GB to return everything to the pristine state, you'd probably want to leave the original GTAIV.exe file intact, without overwriting it (you can backup the original GTAIV.exe file, then overwrite everything and then copy the backup original GTAIV.exe file back to the game folder overwriting the NBPack file).

And of course, don't forget about commandline.txt file as instructed in the main guide in order to launch the Rockstar Game Launcher in offline mode, otherwise it will (most likely? Haven't tried that myself) overwrite any modded files back with the original ones. Please note that the archive already comes with a corresponding TXT file with the parameters used by the original guide creator and they work alright. But if you'd like to change or experiment with available parameters, their list is available in the main guide.

I didn't make any significant changes to the contents of the original archive provided in the main guide that I've downloaded from the Mega link available at April 22, 2023. I only added missing "-" dashes to the commandline.txt parameters and rearchived the files from RAR to 7Z for slightly better compression.
