UMA - Artillery Cruiser 'Destiny'

With war on Mars brewing, not many of the factions could produce cruiser. Only the largest factions could afford to produce large cruisers. One of the main factions began producing the Destiny class to help assault stationary targets. It's large railgun turret at the bottom being designed for this role.

With war ending and expansion beginning. The Destiny had a very important role as it was used to set up outposts, protect important assets and, in rare cases, use it's railgun to blow open large asteroids to extract minerals from inside. With UMA discovering Earth and HSY, the Destiny was used as a show of force against HSY. During the HSY, UMA war, the Destiny was used in a similar role as it had in the Mars war, destroying stationary targets. These were used all throughout the war, being feared by HSY as they didn't really have a counter.

Description
The Destiny is large assault ship designed to destroy stations, cities, outposts or even ships if the railgun can hit. It is flown on a mix of Ion and Hydrogen thrusters. It has a heavy amount of PDT's(Point Defence Turrets) while still having many heavy cannons.It has middle hangar bay at the top that can house 4 small fighters for extra protection. It has 2 refineries and 2 assemblers greatly extending it's range. Overall, a great Artillery ship however lacking fighter complements or speed
