"Gamemodes.txt" Force (ConVar Reset)

Description
Basically what the mod does is loading the default "gamemodes.txt" file like an addon everytime you boot up the game ,overriding any incorrect cvars instead of allowing the game to keep wrong values on some gamemodes because of left over data that some scripts cause even when unsubbed, ill be updating this file each time there is an update for the game.
(just check the last update of this mod for reference)


A tool with the goal of avoiding cases of incorrect cvars staying on some gamemodes because of left over data from scripts not being properly reset by the game itself due to the cloud system.

(DISCLAIMER)
this mod is useless on official servers because those do not admit any script file soo they cant be corrupted / broken as far as i know, but on local everything broken with your own game also affects clients which is a bad thing if you are the host.

+many AI mods rely on the "gamemode.txt" to work , meaning that this tool is gonna conflict with addons that edit "gamemode.txt" file to upgrade the AI , so be aware of incompatibility

Is this mod cause the game to redet the sv_cheats 1 to 0?

@Nescius with how many problems i've seen seen with the introduction of the cloud save system on this game for the past few years, yeah am pretty sure.

- the old workshop servers and backup system are a bit wonky.
-userdata also hides some files on subfolders and some of them on appdata.
-deleting local data barely does something by itself.
-there is no option to delete your cloud backup completly.
-I have like 2 of my old broken mods stuck on my userdata and no matter how hard i try to delete them ....they appear once every 2 days , and yes the "upload" option provided from steam to fix this doesnt work either FOR LIKE 5 YEARS.

Are you sure the issue is caused by custom gamemode.txt addons ? From what I see saved on cloud only spray and cfg is saved there. I can possibly see gamemode.txt not reloading after simply unticking a mod in the addon menu but that would be a thing solved by restarting the game.
One bug I know of where some cvars can break on local server is when playing with -dev launch option. -dev sets sv_cheats 1 and when local server is started while sv_cheats 1 it's automatically set back to 0 and all cheat flagged cvars will be reset to their default values which may cause issues in some modes.

@Nescius in short terms some mods that edit the gamemodes.txt can cause problems with the cloud system , meaning that even when unsubbed from those mods , the game is gonna keep loading some of their cvars on your local server or either break some of the default cvars on specific gamemodes why?.....IDK MAN.

cant fully explain why this happen due to VALVE , but i got some friends that were having the same issues back in day , thats why i did this "sorta-fix-tool" and those problems were gone.

What are you attempting to achieve with this mod ? Not sure what including the default gamemodes.txt gonna do. Servers can't overwrite the default gamemodes.txt present in the update folder

@WellDare yep , everything tied to the gamemode.txt file , it make sure that the game loads the default values everytime you boot up the game.
