Description
Ore Vein Tools
Includes a "dev" style tool that can edit ore veins with precision, and a more "game-friendly" Waborejack!

Requirements
Dev Ore Vein Tool
  • Only accessible through the Creative Menu mod.
  • Create select veins of a defined size, randomize existing veins, or delete veins.
Keybinds
  • LMB - Activate to place/randomize/delete ore vein.
  • RMB - Cycle between ore types, randomize, and delete.
  • R, T - Increase and decrease the defined radius.
  • SHIFT - Place ores without replacing; permits overlapping veins.
  • ALT - Higher precision grid snapping.
Waborejack
  • Can be bought at the Prospecting store for 1565 Prospecting tokens.
  • Randomize ore veins. Change that useless shard vein into cloutium... if you're lucky!
Keybinds
  • LMB - Activate to randomize an ore vein. Don't get too greedy, there's a small chance that it will simply... POOF! Hahahaha

I haven't had the time to do any modding at all in like the last year.
I'm working with Gamerkuipers - another modder - to hopefully get this updated.

Note: It's been a while since I've done any modding, and barely touched the game in the last year. Honestly surprised things haven't broken with updates, haha.

Parkster:
I don't know.
The "Ore Type and Size" uses the game's built-in function (when the game first builds your world). I don't see or control the probability of getting each material, and I don't remember testing for probability.

LegionofOne: If you are using the dev tool, you can delete the ore vein from your workshop. If you're using the Wabborejack, there's a chance the vein will "poof" for that game session. The wabborejack is meant to be silly, so the ore vein comes back after a game reload; the "poof" just hides the ore, not delete it.

How certain will the vein poof? Can I use this to rid myself of a pesky particle party in my workshop?
