E-02 "Babylonia" Station

Description
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lore
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Babylonia was the first Long Range Communication & Maintenance Station designed for colonization of other worlds. Its the pinnacle of human achievement, The Babylonia ushured in a Golden Age of "Unity and Prosperity" on earth. When the great space race started and humanity split into different factions the construction of the station was halted. However in Influx of Engineers hoping for a new life among the stars restarted the reconstruction. It now sits Semi-Permanently locked in low earth orbit.

Babylonia now forms a launching point for Engineers planning to conquer the stars and a key communications hub, surface reconnaissance and the repair of ships passing by.

Systems
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Babylonia is quite a big station it has over 100000 PCU and uses some subgrids. however all subgrids are safely locked in place and from what ive seen have not caused issues.

Babylonia has all the facilities new and old engineers might need. including 2 reactors

Small hanger bays can be found in the ring where fighters and construction ship can dock and recharge.

Between the ring drydocks can be found where a medium size ship is able to dock and a connector on the bottem where larger ships can lock onto.

Some Info
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

All ships used in the screenshots are my own, i might intend to upload these ships later as part of my RDY faction.

Sorry for the lower screenshot quality, im still quite new to uploading stuff to the workshop

If u have any questions about the station or ships from the screenshots feel free to ask me

This Build was also highly inspired by the E-02 "Babylonia" station shown in the Mobile game Punishing: Gray Raven

Thank you Captain Jack for reviewing my space stations and giving me all this support =)

Glad to see someone else using the gravity ring design, I got a station collecting dust that does the same and its a great idea that I feel more people should use, nicely done!

it looks like the station can jump into warp by folding in the "wings" and jumping to a safer place

Wonderful Station! I've already started modding it so that the "wings" come off and turn into defense frigates... then I took the connecting pylons and made them detachable missiles.

Will be experimenting more with it. But I really love the design and that I can make it very modular.

I honestly thought it was bigger, but understandable why it isnt
