Description
This mod retunes the colors for all daemons to be less saturated and more dark to be more kind on my aging eyes, as well as providing a little bit more distinct color variation between troop/hero/lord type daemons as they shared pretty much all the same textures in vanilla. It also reskins Blue Horrors to be significantly more in line with their depictions in many Games Workshop illustrations and tabletop models.

Blue Horrors now have glowing yellow eyes, a two eyed variant, and multiple tentacle headed variants, but the one eyed variants are still dominant and unique to their unit. All one eyed variants have also had their eyes narrowed to be more threatening and less Disney-esque.

Basic Pink Horrors also now have glowing blue eyes like their Exalted bros, much as they do in many artistic depictions, and the glow on Exalted Pinks has been fixed so they still glow at a distance. Tzeentch is my favorite of the Big Four :D

Slaanesh daemons, Daemonettes in particular, do not have as big of a change as the other 3 daemon factions. I have however brought out more of the white tones on the Slaanesh daemons in general. I also fixed the Heartseeker Daemonettes so their skin color doesn't flicker change back and forth at various distances (as is the case as of patch 2.4).

Mortal forces of the Chaos factions have not been touched, with the exception that the shields for Khorne Chaos Warriors have been slightly toned down so they better match not only with their own armor, but also the shade of red of the Skullcrushers they ride.

Mod is fully compatible with my Greater Daemons/Mongod Forsaken mods, as well as GMD Chaos Spawn reskin, just ensure it loads BEFORE/ON TOP of those mods so the darker/desaturated textures will take precedence.

None of the portraits/unit cards have been altered yet. I will do that at a later time.

Those are Greater Daemons. Tamurkhan is not a Greater Daemon. One day I may do a separate mod for mortal followers of Chaos.

Interesting. Well I'll see what I can do, perhaps after they finish the Khorne and Slaanesh DLCs I'll take a whack at em.

Most importantly chaos warriors and chosen of khorne and nurgle. It might just be my opinion, but i do find them cartoony and not "menacing" looking

Possibly, I don't find mortal forces to have the same level of cartoony brightness with the exception of Festus, but someone already did a mod of him being darker.

What units were you thinking of?

This mod is absolutely superb. have you considered making a similar one for chaos non-demon units? They are in need of a similar treatment
