SS J. N. McWatters

The J. N. McWatters was a 730' bulk carrier that operated on the Great Lakes. She was constructed in two parts by Canadian Vickers, and the sections were connected in 1961, and delivered to Misener steamships. The vessel was renamed to Scott Misener in 1991, and remained with the fleet until her sale to Algoma Central in 1994. She remained in service until she was laid up in 1999, and eventually sold for scrap in 2002, and broken up at Port Colborne, ONT.


This vessel is a small size scaled down replica.

Notes:
- IMPORTANT, Clear out boiler pressure every shutdown, and make sure to use the release to keep pressure below 10.
- Do not use infinite fuel.
- Sail smart in waves.
