Description
Hello!
This is Submarine pack that overhauls every single submarine in the vanilla game. To not just look better, but to play better, and fix many issues for a refined experience.

Plag helped me out a lot with this mod page, so go check him out! he's the creator behind the Real Sonar mod.

TO USE THESE NEW SUBS, SELECT A SUB THAT HAS A "-1" NEXT TO THEM

Major Features
  • Better AI support
  • Better looking subs
  • T3 Dugong and Barsuk subs (for the fun of it)
  • Completely overhauled the Herjia, Kastrull, Berilia, Orca 1 & 2, and Remora
  • More docking ports, with greater control over them
  • Winterhome shuttle is now its own pilotable drone

Keep in mind, This pack includes ALL SUBS. That means shuttles, and drones get treated as well. And any sub that isn't shown on the mod page are also treated as well.

AI improvements
A huge portion of barotraumas bot performance comes down to how good the subs waypoints are.
As such, I've reworked all submarines/drones/shuttles to accommodate our beloved bots as much as possible. I'm able to do this thanks to cleaner waypoints, better placement of said points, and improving how bots use airlocks and ladders.
Bots can now consistently use ladders without tripping up, and wont accidentally open airlock doors into the ocean. Additionally, They can now move between drones without issue as well.

for example: the kastrull drone has been heavily modified to allow bots to be able to access its ballast tank. The remora drone has had similar modifications done, with the added bonus of an added airlock.

Yea I replaced it with a buffed flak cannon that you can't replace.
if you wanna check out the changes IMO the best way to see it is by going into the sub editor.

Fixed. While i was at it, i cleaned up the wiring so now it shouldn't look like a clusterfuck of wires

The bottom docking hatch on the R-29 is not wired properly; it's missing signal-in-1 from the relay above the bridge.

Yea thats the same problem i encountered, and i still believe that it's a problem that I can't solve. Again, I suggest you keep the hatch open while docked. Perhaps you should wire a switch to keep the hatch open?

The submarine was docked at a station. I ordered the bots to go back to the sub and when I went back, they were all crowded at the bottom of the ladder, until I opened the hatch.

If your talking about bots being unable to enter the airlock from above while underwater, this was a conscious decision I made while i made the waypoints. Allowing bots to enter the top hatch would compromise their ability to enter/exit the docking port while docked. So I opted to ditch it entirely. Especially when there's another door right next to it.
