Queensland Rail Western Corridor

Description
My first map.

This is Queensland Rail's Western Corridor encompassing Milton to Ipswich, Ipswich to Rosewood & Milton to Springfield Lines

Tip for train's direction of travel

To Milton

In a 2 track line; Top track of the line is the Down Track
in a 4 track line; The top 2 tracks is the Down Track

From Milton

In a 2 track line; The bottom track of the line is the Up Track
in a 4 track line; The bottom 2 tracks is the up Track

History Spot: In 1865 when Ipswich station was built the builders accidentally built the station in the wrong direction therefore the "Up line" became the line for trains running Westwards from Brisbane Central to Ipswich and the "Down Line" was for services running from Ipswich Northwards to Brisbane Central so the lines became reversed.

The Ipswich & Rosewood Line was the first Main Line built in the in South East Queensland and is the only line in the Queensland Rail infrastructure that is on a reversed direction.
