Description
Edit your campaign real-time from a web browser. Play around, setup your campaign and disable it afterwards once you are done.

Instructions
  1. Press Windows+R and copy/paste in the following script to create the correct folder:
    powershell.exe mkdir $env:USERPROFILE\.wh3edit

    You can also manually create the folder yourself inside %USERPROFILE% or C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME. The folder name must be .wh3edit.

  2. Subscribe to this mod. Start the launcher, don't forget to activate the mod from the mod manager. And start a game.

  3. Once the campaign is fully loaded and you can interact with the game world, open up the web app[wh3edit-bombardier.vercel.app] and click start. Select the folder that was previously created or use the shortcut to load up the campaign in the app.

    If the map won't load, use Chrome as your browser. The webapp uses an experimental feature[caniuse.com] that isn't supported by most browsers.

Important
The mod has only been tested on Windows operating systems at the moment.
The web app currently only works with the LATEST chromium-based browsers! Chrome, Edge, etc.

Sir, your work is amazing, I'm using the "map painter" to make new custom maps and I'm a huge fan.

I wanted to ask, is it possible to add the new wood elf custom battle factions as functional AI factions ingame?
As when adding some, they are inactive and do nothing.

I know that Im picky right now but the option "modify faction treasury" works as adding money to a faction, not modyfing it

@Bidenator You can make changes, save the game, disable the mod and share that savegame. But no, you can't "save the map" with the changes you made and reuse them in a new game.

Technically it should be possible to "record" all the action/changes you make to the map and generate a script or sequence of commands, and run that at the start of the game.


@Mora Due to the way the mod works, in the background the mod continuously writes the game state to files. It's not much but still a waste of your device's resources if you're not using the mod.

Not sure what's wrong with grudgesettlers units.

I haven't tested the old world map in a while, probably outdated, but it was already working. Same with extended immortal empires map.
