"And here is our newest family member, Mr. Rocky. So far Libby is getting used to him, but Rocky is still a bit shy of her. When she wants out of my daughters room he sounds like a lion beating against the door, not an 8 month old, fairly skinny kitten. He is a pretty cool cat though. I am not always the biggest fan of cats because my first wife forced me to live with 5 or 6 of them when we got married and all but one of them didn't like me (they didn't like any males in general) but I did have one favorite named Pascal which was one I got to pick up, thus his name after the programming language. Anyway when she cheated on me and divorced me, she took all the cats, including Pascal with her.

Then we had an outdoor feral cat on the farm we lived on before our current house in the subdivision that one day turned on my daughter for no reason, both Kim and I were watching Dani play with her and then boom the cat scratched and bit her and terrorized her out of the blue. It took years before we got another cat when a stray outdoor calico cat came and started living around the place. We loved her, and when it got cold she would let us bring her in, but she wouldn't stay indoors normally. When we got our new house we let her out in the attached garage and the first thing she did was bolt and we never saw her again. So hopefully we will be better luck with Mr. Rocky."
