RIG MANUEL

Drilling:

1. TO LOAD A ROD, Take a rod out of the rod storage rack on the left side of the platform. Slide the rod out and over the outer railing and grab the end of the rod and place in the arm clamp.
2. Navigate to the panel next to the drilling darrick and turn on the "Arm Clamp" and "Drilling Darrick Clamp" keys. The rod may need to be moved around a bit but It will then lock into place
3. Navigate to the control room and turn the "Panel Power" key and press and hold the button labeled "Pump Jack Up" and turn on "Turntable Clamp".
4. Once the Pump Jack reached the top of the drilling darrick head back towards the rod loading station.
5. Move the rod backwards to the tip of the rod is aligned with the edge of the arm clamp.
6. Press "Tip Rod" and the rod will move horizontal towards the drilling darrick.
7. Push the rod down into the turntable until it locks.
8. Head back up towards the control room and turn on "Pump Jack Clamp" and move the pump jack down until it locks to the rod.
9. TO START DRILLING, Turn on "Slurry Pumps In" and "Slurry Pumps Out" and press "START DRILL".

Connecting More Rods:

1. After the rod is in the connecting area of the drilling darricks slider. (REVERT to steps 1-6 in part 1 of now to load another rod)
2. An indicator will turn on labeled as "Rods Aligned" will illuminate and the "Connect New Rod" button can be pressed to lock the new rod into place.

If you are having trouble connecting another rod:

When the pump jack makes it to the drilling darricks clamp when drilling DON'T STOP the drill! For some reason if the pump jack stops the well still gets deeper! After the well has stopped increasing it's depth, you can disconnect the swivel clamp and and the turn table clamp and move the rod down far enough for a new rod to be connected. I'll of course tune this when I get the chance to.

Patch Notes:
-Changes to structure
-Moved controls by the drilling darricks panel
-Improved rod connection issues.

a very good drilling rig. it would not hurt to add a platform and guides for the rod on the loading clip, and so everything is super

@average IED enjoyer I would assume so, because you can spawn guns and such without the weapons DLC, you just can't shoot them. So what I think will happen is that you can use it but you won't be able to collect any oil or anything with it

@doc yes it is takes like 15 minute for each rod when i try, an arm takes like 30 seconds
Doc 24 May, 2023 @ 3:38pm
@Mr. Glitch It's really not that hard to use our hands
tacticalcatboy 23 May, 2023 @ 11:40am
can you add like remote control functions, so like you can control the control room stuff from below
Mr. Glitch 21 May, 2023 @ 4:25pm
Excuse me, I don't see an arm for grabbing rods nor controls for them. Do not tell me we are supposed to use hour hands to grab rods.
