Return to Glory: FEAR THE NIGHT

Description
This is the version 1.0 release of FEAR THE NIGHT, released 3/13/2023
This is the Standard Unit Size Version. A 2X and a 3X (RTG: Apocalypse Compatible) version will be coming ASAP.

NOTE: Please remember to rate the mod. Thank You!

NOTE: Recommended Play Difficulty: VERY HARD

What is FEAR THE NIGHT?

A complete Vampire Counts Overhaul, that adds 63+ new units and heroes to the Vampire Counts. But that's not all it does. There is a whole lot more. My goal over the 4 Months of build time and testing was to produce one of the largest, most detailed and stable faction overhauls ever created. I hope you enjoy it.

Vampire counts now have access to:
+63 new Units added ( all original Vampire Counts Units remain as well)

+30 new weapons with hand made custom built in game representations.

+27 new spells/abilities

-New Hand drawn/edited textures and gore effects.

-Custom Movement, Mass, Speed, and more for each unit.

-Custom Models never seen before in Warhammer Fantasy battles.

-Complete Necromancy Overhaul, with the NecrOverhaul Submod.

-New Hero/Characters (some of which are beyond anything you could imagine)

-Completely new strategies, and tactics never used by the Vampire Counts are now viable.

-Vampire Counts units like, the Dire Wolves, Zombies, Bats, Vargheists all receiving a boost in effectiveness and late game functionality.

-Special Hero Squads, that buff units, De-buff enemies and provide support even when your Lord is not near.

- Custom made Weapons and Armor Pieces, to completely change the way Vampire Counts look on the Field.

- Never seen before Artillery pieces, Cavalry, War Machines, Chariots and even Dragons!

-Garrison Overhauls for Vampire Counts, adding Fear the Night Units and Tech/building advancements to include even more elite units to protect your Dark Citadels.

-All Vampire Counts Factions get access to the NEW UNITS/Spells/Weapons/Features.

-Compatible in Custom battle/Multiplayer (as long as both players have the mod installed. and Campaign.
NOTE: This mod is designed around Single Player Campaign from the Vampire Counts player POV, so balancing for competitive play/Multiplayer was not a focus, however this shouldn't be a problem, as the units themselves are balanced against pre-existing units.

-Raise Dead Overhaul, which replaces some units and adds new Fear the Night Unit options when raising dead.

-New Buildings/building requirements for some custom Fear the Night units (balanced so you can't get tier 5 units on turn 5 (Sorry Folks).

-TRULY UNDEAD UNITS, without fear. They will fight until they are DEAD, or the enemy is.

-Completely rebuilt tier system for every type of Vampire Count Unit providing tier 1 up to tier 5 Elite Units for all Unit types including Zombies, Skeletons, Wights, Wraiths, Beasts, and Vampires.

-Do you like Zombies, but wish You had more variety, better resiliency and more Undead corpses to toss at your enemies? CHECK!

-Do you want Skeletons that are stronger, with more variety, better strategies and useful in the mid and late game? Done!

-Do you love the Idea of Wraiths/Ghosts but wish you had more options? Just Wait till you see them.

-Do you dream of commanding an entirely effective late game horde of only ZOMBIES?

-What about commanding a horde of apparitions and wraiths to swarm the enemy with supernatural speed all while being almost impervious to non-magical weapons, like the final battle of LOTR?

- Does your inner Vampire Lord despise the thought of rotting corpses and Skeletons? How about a Legion of the finest troops money can buy, consisting of only VAMPIRES. (I am not talking about only Blood Knights, Lords/Heroes.) Way more, way better.

There is so much more I am probably forgetting something, but I will leave it up to you to discover the rest on your own.

QUICK NOTE ON BALANCE:

I am completely aware that some of the units in this mod may provide a Vampire Counts player an unfair advantage against certain factions. This is intended, to express more UNDEAD/Supernatural capability. In instances where a unit was deemed OP, the unit's pricing was adjusted accordingly ( You'll see :) That being said I am more than happy to listen to suggestions and make tweaks in the future. So let me know (peacefully and politely) what you think.

@Killua

This is explained in the description, and is also why the units are more expensive than vanilla units. This is also why they are not receiving every buff imaginable. They are strong enough. They are Vampires/Undead..they are meant to be strong.

tested!! Appreciate your effort in making lots of units & changes. IMO, the units are too OP on the field and the garrisons are also too strong

@Kinngrimm

Sorry just finished work. Yeah the mods got approximately 5 months of my life in it already and I haven't even ported it to TWWH3, so I would expect alot of added new features or me taking over anyone elses mods any time soon. I spent 8+ hours a day for 5 months straight making this mod. So I am on vacation right now. Not to mention less than 10% of subscribers are actually rating the mod, so not alot of motivation on my part right now.
