Description
Kevight, the star, seeks for some fighting, and this world has everything he wanted, fight using his authentical bell for the act, filled with all his power of the past, with a lot of more habilities he got during his time, it's time for him to show Aether the power of stars!

He is used to fight against bigger enemies, he has lack of take stocks early, and takes them around 150% (unless you do some crazy blastzone close shenanigans)

But Kevight can deal with those issues, and you too understanding how it plays:

Let's tackle the SPECIAL attacks, shall we?

SPECIALS



NSPECIAL is a counter, when you make the counter first time, you get a damage/knockback boost depending the attack, this will last for 30 seconds and won't activate again until you lose a stock, so make those seconds count taking stocks early there!

If you want, you can use the counter with the boost enabled, will grant you heal everytime the counter is activated, and when deals damage, perfect against low-ranged characters!

USPECIAL is a teleport, one of your few attacks that can take stocks with boost or not, Kevight will be invincible since is inside portal, until goes back to his star form

FSPECIAL has a cooldown, due to how versatile it is, first you spin at the direction to then throw a proyectile, the spin doesn't do much, but the proyectile stuns enemies in place, perfect to continue combos (to then even finish them), and you can use it as a recovery move, all depends the state and the right place to do it

DSPECIAL also has cooldown, it's more centered in take stocks quickly, but takes much more to use it again, below him, a root will appear and wait instructions, the next time you do DSPECIAL will attack opponents close, remember a root will always spawn below you if there's ground to stand, and too far offstage, but Kevight will not be busy around, in DSPECIAL can grab the opponent and throw downwards, it also gives a small jump but not very high...

Tips for attacks

Now let's see some tips on the the other stuff:

DATTACK is a high speed attack, will go straight foward and no way to stop it, be careful use it near a ledge or get parried (Worst if you are far offstage)

UAIR is an attack that gives a small boost upward, you can barely notice it if you are falling, even tho cancels all your horizontal movement, try use it as soon as you jump, you'll reach higher and even surprise enemies

DAIR is weak on the sourspots but the strongest on the sweetspot, it sends you backwards and upwards, so don't fear using it as an edgeguard attack!

FAIR makes Kevight spin his legs for a very long time, you can cancel it anytime with a dodge or a walljump, but if you hit someone with it, you can cancel it also with jump, another attack (even the same one if you are crazy enough), and special moves!

NAIR is one of the most ranged attacks Kevight has, shooting his arms and legs at 4 directions, the tip stuns enemies but you'll need experience making space with the opponent to hit them

USTRONG and FSTRONG are very ranged too, but are very tricky to take a stock with them without the boost, but DSTRONG is the best for safe and salty attacks, as soon the light barrier covers you, they can't hit you anymore until the barrier starts dissappearing, and has a small hitbox below, ready for unexpected stocks, but the space and timing, are very tight, start practicing with a combo from the small hitbox into the bigger one

Lastly, your hitbox is very small when you crouch, only attacks that reach the ground can hurt you, you can crawl in that form to get closer to your rivals and start a combo with DTILT

Time to see 4 extra details I can tell you:

1. Backstory
Who is Kevight? And his backstory?
In the past Kevight was known as Grogar, he wanted unite the species of his world, creating creatures to show them the way, but his creations started control him and enslave those species, until the species re-united take down Grogar and killed him, even tho his soul was flying all around space, he wanted show he was a good guy at all, and started doing stuff that gave incredible results! The stars gave him another chance, and with star pieces, he reincarnated into a star, calling himself form then on as Kevight, who protected his world from his creations and a catastrophe!

2. Supports
Kevight is supported with few characters/stages, but I'll let you discover those yourself

3. Alternate colors
Kevight's alternate colors are based on space stuff (like space characters, stages, or events); on magical characters of his world; and a few about facts about the OC, or the lore in detail! (This is excluding the Early Access and Abyss colors btw)

4. Just enjoy the character as it is
And lastly, I have to say sorry if this character is op or kinda broken or buggy, it's my first time doing a Rivals of Aether character and it took me a whole month to even reach here.

Althought, this is the final big update, but I would like hear what things change to balance him more

Solid character, there's some weird oddities though. His Forward Air just lasts forever which is intended, but honestly I don't think makes it that useful, he seems more prone to killing himself without much benefit. I think his down air shouldn't send into freefall state as well, it's kind of weak, maybe remove the freefall on hit but if they miss that's when they freefall? Dash attack seems to be a bit overtuned as well, maybe a bit less distance covered if possible. DSpecial is pretty cool as a move, but probably needs less cooldown because it's hard to hit consistently. Again though, pretty decent character, I just wanted to give my thoughts about him
