Clue [Scripted]

Description
Clue [Scripted] [Remastered]
Clue (Cluedo) - 1996 version, Includes custom model weapons. 2-6 players. (Suggested: 3 or more.)

Greetings, esteemed guests. Allow me to guide you through the rules of Clue, a classic game of deduction and strategy.

Firstly, each player must select a character, represented by a token on the game board. These characters include the illustrious Miss Scarlet, the cunning Professor Plum, the enigmatic Mrs. Peacock, the suave Mr. Green, the seductive Mrs. White, and the formidable Colonel Mustard.

You read that right "the seductive Mrs. White".

Once all players have chosen their characters, the game can begin. The objective of Clue is to determine three key pieces of information: the identity of the murderer, the murder weapon, and the location of the crime.

To do so, players must move their tokens around the board, entering various rooms and making suggestions about the possible culprit, weapon, and location. Other players must then either confirm or deny these suggestions by showing the accuser a card that matches the suggestion.

As players gather more information, they may be able to make educated guesses and eventually solve the mystery. The first player to correctly guess all three aspects of the crime wins the game.

Remember, dear guests, that discretion and cunning are key in Clue. Be sure to keep your suspicions close to the vest and make strategic moves to outwit your opponents. Best of luck to all who dare to play.

Thank you.

Hey dlwodnr,
Let me know if I understand you correctly;
If you have the ballroom card in your hand and you are suggesting that it happened in the ballroom then no one else can disprove your suggestion. I admit that you are right that "nobody" is a little misleading so I changed it to "nobody else". I don't want to get too specific with the wording because that will tip off what's in your hand, if any, if you are the suggester.

If another player suggested the ballroom and you have the ballroom card it should say your character 'has a clue to show'... etc etc.

I tripled checked that the cards are all matched up starting with the ballroom card just in case. In the Hotseat room, I cannot recreate a bug where it will ignore a card in hand when suggested by another player. If it is the latter, I wouldn't mind a screenshot of the problem.

Thanks Neverswears
You have the Ballroom card, but when Ballroom guesses, it says nobody can disprove your suggestion.

Thanks dlwodnr,
The function, if you couldn’t tell, is muting the player after they didn’t solve the case.
I was able to have the error code not show up anymore, however in the Hotseat room, it says I can't mute myself. I am hoping this new update fixed this outside of the Hotseat room.
I appreciate your feedback, and making me a better coder!
