Solland: Faction Overhaul

Description
"When the hammer blow of the Ironclaw fell on Averland, Eldred von Heugenloewd, Count of Solland, was quick to marshal his forces despite his marginalized position at the Imperial court."

This mod adds a completely new faction, Solland, with this mod's main attraction: Count Eldred von Heugonloewd, the Elector Count of Solland.

FEATURES
  • New Faction: Solland, with custom faction effects, banner, and new faction leader/elector
  • New Legendary Lord: Count Eldred von Heugonloewd
  • New Legendary Hero: Ludwig von Mecklenburg
  • 2 NEW quest chains/battles for the faction
  • 1 new RoR: The Myrmidons
  • 1 new Knightly Order: The Knights of Solland Eternal
  • 1 new unit: Soll's Patrol
  • 1 new landmark: Eldred's Guardhouse (Available at Pfeildorf)

PLEASE READ
  • The extra effects that are not featured on the starting trait and the faction effects are the bonuses that come with being the Elector Count of Solland.
  • You must finish the quest chain/battle to reclaim the Crown of Solland to unlock it. (AI automatically gets it at lvl 15)

More info on above:
- IEE playthrough, turn 50 or so
- Playing as Karl, with Solland already confederated, and Eldred selected as its Elector Count
- Likely have large IA currently, perhaps > 5K
- Reloading previous saves from before script break now causes those saves to also break (red X, other scripts not firing) with current version of this mod.
- In a new IEE campaign, this mod works fine, no script break :steamthumbsup:

Hi, thank you for this great mod. Unfortunately, I get the same error as below posters:


ERROR - SCRIPT HAS FAILED - event callback was called after receiving event [FirstTickAfterWorldCreated] but the script failed with this error message:
[string "script\campaign\wh3_dlc25_imperial_authority.lua"]:189: attempt to index local 'faction_data' (a nil value)


Unfortunately, this breaks every save in my campaign, and this mod does not look like it can be disabled mid-playthrough.

it seems that the Myrmmidons are missing their shields in my case, anyone else encountered this problem?

yeah unfortunately im using the new solland in TOW, not the faction im normally use. ill come back to update follow this mod up as its taken too much of my time haha. and thanks for the kind words!

Possibly an issue on my end, but in TOW Eldred doesn't give fealty to the empire/is independent like Marienburg
Not game breaking at all but thought it worth mentioning
Also, this, Sylvania and Outremer are like my fave trio of factions, thanks so much!

They were, but there is no virtually no difference between the two. You also have to use pre_tick if you want to insert a new value to the empire politics tables. It has also (always) been pre_tick, even 3 weeks ago. However, your issue seems to be with the imperial authority script, and the format i used is the same as the one used in mixu’s mixer for the minor empire factions, and he also uses pre_tick there. Capital thing is interesting, prob needs more testing
