UpArmoured T55

Description
Got an outdated T-55? Lets upgrade on a budget. It wont be pretty, but it might just work.

First I added some extra armour plating and sandbags on the hull, turret and gun. I added a cope cage because it protects against the sun... AT weapons, not so much. Mounted a Mk 19 grenade launcher above the barrel controlled by the gunner. A little bit of brush added on the barrel. Replaced the old soviet coaxial machine gun for an M240B on a single 2500 Rnd belt line the M1 Abrams. Added a SPG-9 on the loaders turret with not 1, but 2, M240B machine guns with a little armour plating as well so you can switch between the SPG-9 and 2x M240Bs like having a second weapon on a turret. I also threw on a jerry can on the back of the turret as an emergency fuel reserve.

At one point I had some light brush on the hull and turret but removed them because these compositions are use up quite a bit of performance in game. I also at one point had a MANPAD SAM launcher welded on the left side of the turret and had the ability to lock and launch a AA missile but decided not to get carried away with this project.


ARMOURED TURRET BUG NOTES:

- Some of the armoured turrets plates move from their proper position when the mission starts but looks fine in the editor. The solution is to cut and paste the turret plates.
1. Select the plates in the editor
2. CTRL + SHIFT + X
3. CTRL + SHIFT + V

- Compositions with armoured turrets should not be rotated in the editor. Plates will become angled in the mission.

- The armour plates moving ahead of their position when the vehicle is moving is not fixable as far as I know.

- AI have a tendency of not shooting as much or not at all if they are in an armoured turret.

The dual 240Bs are actually the spg-9 with an added weapon and ammo scripted on it so the bullets come from the SPG-9, smoke actually comes from the bottom of the SPG-9s tripod. The 240B models are just ground weapons with attachTo and set up so they cant be taken (still shows option to take in game but). As for why the RoF is double and reload time is halfed, I think it is a glitch because the SPG-9 also reloads twice as fast. I think it has something to do t\with the fact that I have a turret attachTo a turret. I didnt bother investigating so I put down 2 M240Bs to "explain" the double RoF and left it at that.
