Consolidation Armament II - when actions speak for you




During the war with the Aenum Republic, the design bureaus of Outer Planets Consolidation were actively engaged in the development of new technologies for warfare. And while the first ships equipped with the Armament One series of Consolidation weapons were just coming off the slipway, the Bureau of Engineering, Consolidation Electronic Technologies and Exo Autonomous Systems - a division of Exo Mining Rigs, were already testing new types of weapons capable of turning the tide of war.

Recent developments in micro-accelerators allowed Consolidation Bureau of Engineering to develop effective rocket engines that could be mounted on small missiles. With extensive experience with torpedoes dating back to the birth of the Consolidation, the Bureau quickly enough produced the first experimental prototype missiles in several sizes. The CET, thanks to its expertise in targeting and flight control, was able to equip these missiles with an auto-targeting system and, through experimental EMP installations, offer a version of small missiles capable of temporarily ejecting enemy vessels.

While CET and CBE were developing missiles, Exo Autonomous Systems was able to make strides in the development of propulsion systems. Their first prototypes, mounted on missiles that were installed on a Defiant-class experimental ship, proved highly effective and allows to multiple missiles slip past the defenses.

For a long time, the new Consolidation weapons were supplied exclusively as part of CDF defense contracts, but more recently these systems have been available for sale to allies of OPC






One of the most powerful weapons created by Consolidation and mounted on OPC ships. Built plasma blast shot will leave no chance for your opponents. Ideal against large objects and ground complexes




The TER302 and TER102 are the main plasma-based turrets used as offensive weapons. Their high rate of fire and damage allow them to be used against both large and small targets




The static variant of TEC401 - FEC401 and its younger brother FEC201 both are very effective against shields and the big objects

A variation of the small caliber missile launcher for large ships. Due to the characteristics of the missiles used, extremely effective against small objects or as barrage fire




A medium-powered launcher. The missiles used with this type of launcher are perfectly balanced, as all things should be, and allow for both high maneuverability and damage. Sufficiently effective against all kinds of enemies

i haed the tec401 on a ship a year or two ago and it did alot of damage, did the damage get lowered and if so could a op version be made to cut through hulls like butter, in an area effect

Well i had seen the blue explosion but most of the tube was still loaded with Lokis, i had forgotten to force reload (because im special K)

Also are EMP missiles good against shields, or are they just for temporarily depowering stuff?

the emp one has a distinctive blue trail and blue explosion, hard to overlook

hm, i'll have to double check then, i could swear i just tested the EMP ones and they also fired at the general grid square of what i was looking at, Mayhaps i still had some left over Loki missiles i hadn't purged.

Hm fair. Though i feel like a S1 missiles are dumb fire? More over whats the trick to aiming the almace? it seems to fire at the general grid square a target is at rather than firing straight or predictably, so i question why i should make them over a vanilla missile turret, or additional Durendals.

Do the S1 Loki missiles just dumb fire and accomplish nothing? i made a few hundred expecting them to fire like normal rockets and attempt to crash into my target (like normal missiles) but they seem to just fire randomly everywhere and anywhere in an impossible to aim fashion.

Though i suppose that'd make them wildly OP if i could fire them ahead of larger rockets and have them be a priority target, i suppose using any other type of rocket might be best yeah?

@DakoHartwig215 plasma turret and fixed weapon need only energy.
So if it din't fire it could be:
-not enough power.
-out of range.
-out of the firings angle.
-obstruction between target and you turrets.

I can’t find the plasma ammo? I assume the plasmas need that ammo since they won’t fire, but I can’t find it in spawn menu
