WebKnight's OPTRE Expansion

Description
An expansion pack for Halo Universe that is containing weapons and custom creatures

PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION BEFORE USAGE

Things to know:
  • LAMBS is partially supported, but please disable Explosion Event Handlers in addon settings in order for it work correctly with this mod
  • VCOM CAN BREAK CUSTOM AI BEHAVIOUR AS WELL AS CUSTOM SKELETON ANIMATIONS
  • All units presented in a mod is AI ONLY, and there is no plans to make them player contrallable
  • THERE IS NO PLANS TO ADD BRUTES OR DRONES. But there might be a small Jackal rework.
  • Custom Elites can operate any vehicle without any problems
  • Custom Grunts can only operate Shade Turrets, Mortars and Ghosts, you are not able to put them in any other vehicle because they dont have proper animations, that will be changed in a future
  • Same for Hunters, you cannot put them in ANY vehicle
  • You cannot change any of the weapons that units hold in hands because of the way how its coded, the only way to change it is through config
  • Some mechanics might not work as intended because of the high ping
  • All source files are available in my discord for you to modify and rig your custom models
  • All projectiles are balanced and configured to not one tap people, should work with vanilla, PIR, and ace (although your custom settings migh change that)

What does this mod add?
  • New melee weapons such as Energy Sword and Gravity Hammer
  • Grunts, Hunters and Elites with custom ai and Animations, everything made from scratch
  • New custom projectiles for plasma weapons for AI
  • Melee AI Elites with Energy Swords

What expect in a future?
  • More AI behaviour patterns and ambient animations
  • Ability for all custom skeleton to go into all vehicles from OPTRE
  • More weapons from OPTRE that will be supported for AI
  • Marines and Spartans AI?
  • And other small COF changes

@WebKnight Ah good so that was entirely a false rumor I heard, that's good to know. People tend to talk out of their ass a lot.

I'm super excited to see the additions, can't wait! Do take all the time you need, just happy to have an individual like yourself putting mods together for Arma

@Teka drama with Halo community? This is first time i am hearing about it. This mod aint dead, just need more time. I am planning to add jackals/skirmishers later on

Webknight, you are at all times doing God's work with the mods you create. 40k/30k, HL, SW, and Halo. Been using your mods in my unit for as long they've been available and have no plans to stop. Amazing work as always my friend. I hope the rumors of drama you've had with the Halo community are false, as seeing more Halo work from you would be the best thing to hear.

Regardless keep up the amazing work, in whatever way you wish. It's all 10/10.

There is a phenomenon where elites suddenly get stuck repeatedly raising and lowering their weapons.

I think the probability of this occurring when obstacles are close together is high, but I am not sure.

Why is this even an addon to antistasi, all i see are broken units not shooting at me 4 t away when im blasting them with my shotgun, the unsc on the other hand are a formidable foe.

Either than that I been having a blast but I think having the brutes and banished would be awesome and have it ready for antistasi ultimate and have them as the occupants or invaders. As a big halo fan I think that would be awesome and fun
