The bare bones basics for a more realistic experience

There shouldn't be any conflicts between the mods, most should be up to date, so you can "subscribe to all". Other mods, like the brand new Actros and FH, as well as map mods, have to be downloaded from elsewhere.

In addition, I recommend using ReShade, I personally use Johndoe Sickx's JD6 LuxuS v1.8.1 preset.

For traffic models I'd recommend packs from Jazzycat, and I'd advise against using any traffic density mods, especially on modded maps... Unless you really want to spend more time getting jammed up than actually driving.

As for sound mods... its personal preference, the only exhaust sound mod I used was "Scania V8 Open Pipe with FKM Garage Exhaust System".

When it comes to realistic physics, ETS2 in-game sliders have gotten good enough to not require any mods to give a good feeling with a wheel.
