Description
Modify collision damage formula, increase the collision damage by 50%.
Enhanced cavalry breakthrough ability.

Another WH3 version → Enhanced Cavalry Breakthrough
WH2 version → Enhanced Cavalry Charge

Make sure this mod overwrite overhaul mod like SFO or Radious if you enable them at the same time.
Uninstall any time, very safe for savegame.

after thrones, the "enhanced" version has cav straight deleting everything, if youre looking for a more balanced version, use the "less enhanced" version instead, still a big upgrade from vanilla but 4 cav wont be able to steamroll a full stack

Does this mod just provide a slight chnage to cavalry units or does it make them overpowerful in a way that it desequilibrate the balance of the game?

If you are using official mod manager, put it above higher, it load from bottom to top. I am not sure the load order of community mod manager.

Now... is this mod balanced? I mean, so far....No, because a smart player with 1-2 cav units can win a 20v20 stack fight with just those two units. But the enemy cav is just as powerful, so you gotta watch out for that. Wolf riders and spider riders are deadly af.

Now is cav good against large units? Not really unless they are antilarge. This mod mainly affects the charging, and not much else.

If you add other mods that give cav formations or buffs to speed/mass, cavalry is unstoppable. Cav with this mod is already hard to kill IF THEY GET CLOSE, but its manageable with ranged units with a side of casualties.

Overall, its a good mod so long as you dont abuse the cav. Get an AI general mod that allows you to put your cav on autopilot and let them do their thing.

Oh shoot, i forgot to provide feedback. This mod makes lower entity cav units EXTREMELY powerful. God forbid you charge from a hill.

You can take some demigryphs and have them normally run through a unit of enemies and rush past them in while targeting something else. And since cav units stop the moment they charge their designated target, you should instead select another target before they stop to keep the momentum.

I got a little over 1270 kills with just a single unit of demigryphs against a greenskin horde.

And luckily, i had healing auras available, so the demigryphs would come back when heavily damaged just to get topped off over time.

Wasnt just with demigryphs either. Light cav hits pretty hard too. Wish the game mechanics would instead toss aside or run over troops using cavalry instead of having enemies fly in the air in droves.
Looks goofy when you add this mod and you see waves of flesh and blood fly everywhere.
