Obsessions

Leírás
Obsessions is a gameplay/story mod that introduces new anomalies and events centered around early/mid-game exploration.

Players are presented with events that challenge their decision-making skills and role playing decisions. Once they spawn, events from this mod are generally not based on random rolls, but will have multiple branches depending on the traits of the scientist and the ethics of your empire, along with the choices you make. Rewards/risks are generally balanced to be significant but avoid being game breaking

This mod features a unique gameplay mechanic where scientists can become obsessed following their failures, leading to significant events that have a major impact on the player's journey. Deal with their obsession well and you'll be rewarded. Treat them poorly and there will be consequences.

Spawn rates are balanced such that you'll see at most one major event per game. This mod should be completely compatible with other mods as it does not overwrite any vanilla behavior.

Known Issues:
-Flavor text currently assumes that your scientists are individuals and not part of a gestalt. The effects should still all work though.

Just wanted to bring to your attention that the leader trait checks should propebly be updated to fit to the tiered trait system, e.g. "has_trait_tier1or2or3 = { TRAIT = leader_trait_expertise_psionics }" in stead of "has_trait = leader_trait_expertise_psionics"
