The following mod puts the default P220 and Glock combo in the pistol animations from the original Left 4 Dead ported and edited by yours truly.

Not much to say, this mod is merely an alternative to this other mod I made before but instead of using the original Colts it uses the P220 and Glock introduced to Left 4 Dead 2 in case you like these pistols more than the ones in L4D1, that's about it.

While there's no HD worldmodels this time around I did remodel a majority of both the P220 and Glock to patch some holes that would otherwise be visible when having them rigged to this animset. The viewmodels are still not fully 3D modeled, but there should be no visible seams when using this, if you see any please let me know.

This add-on should be compatible with any sound mods or retextures so that you can mix and match the ones you like the most, as seen in the showcase video. It is however not compatible with mods that change the pistols' 3D model in any way shape or form (mods that change animations for example).

If you wish to take any assets from this mod (animations, models) feel free to do so, you do not need to ask for permission, just please give me credit for it. This being said please don't make commissions out of this either, thank you. (If you do borrow content from this add-on I recommend you check this page every now and again, sometimes I come back and push an update if something bugs me post-release).

There will be some minor clipping bugs here and there since these animations were not made for these pistols in mind, but I think these are small enough that you shouldn't really notice them.

I checked the mod real quick, it should be good to use as I didn't pack any worldmodels.

I only ask as slight clarification of the recently released Fixed Second Pistol Worldmodel mod but, I assume this may or may not conflict with that mod?

You could do two versions, beta style and standard. I wouldn't mind the animations being faster if it included that portion.

When you do this can you adjust the left arm to not clip on higher FOV's? I use your pistols on 65-75 FOV and they look fantastic!

The issue with having the mag out portion of the animations included in the beta-style reloads is that if I want to keep the animation speeds accurate with the timers (you can fire again when animation ends) then I would have to make then even faster than they are now and then they would look goofy.

On the contrary if I keep the animation at its normal speed then you would be able to interrupt it at a point where it would also look goofy.

Can you do a version such as I mentioned where it's mag out, mag in, and bolt pull, essentially the animations shown off in early 2008 Left 4 Dead?

Now that I've finished porting the SMG anims I might try to make a separate animset where the survivor holds the strap and the right hand grabs the gun better, shouldn't take too long to make.
