Description
An Italian battle rifle, and the Japanese Type 4 Rifle. Replaces the FAL and L1A1

ALL CREDIT FOR THE ORIGINAL GOES TO KATKA

I only updated to remove the purple paint on the barrel of the Type 4 as it bugged the hell out of me...

REQUIRES THE SHARED RESOURCES PACK
  • Uses Insurgency: Sandstorm animations
  • Has a world model with LODs (to reduce the chance of crashing)
  • Has a VGUI Icon
  • And yes, it's GGX

Lmao the Purple paint was based off from the leased american rifles that was used on the UK during WW2 but instead of the Purple paint it was Orange. Why Purple ? It was.... hmmmm let's say it's my favorite color from a different game and I request Katka to add an aesthetic detail on that modified Type 4 which gives you a clue on what was the game haha. It's located at the top part of the receiver of the Type 4 (Hint: it's an engraving...... and no it's not a chrysanthemum). Let me know if you find it and I might even type down the story of how I made this commission to Katka because we ridiculously took a long time in finishing this commission HAHA.

Oh really?? What was the purple paint for, I was curious cause it looked deliberate haha. I actually just googled the original name cause I had no clue what it was!

As the guy who actually commissioned Katka this with the purple paint, I find this actually funny haha. Surprised that somebody knows the rifle was actually a Type 4 but modified

Essentially, yes. The Beretta BM 59 is based directly off the M1 Garand Rifle, according to Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beretta_BM_59
