Description
If you have giant colony and need nutrient paste vats with higher capacity for its size, then this mod will help you with that.

Mod Contents

Mod increasing capacity of base Nutrient paste vat and adds 4 vats of different size for Vanilla Nutrient Paste Expanded. Capacity increase is offset by a higher cost and longer construction time, due to digging a place for it.

Nutrient paste vat
Become "M Nutrient paste vat"
Capacity increased from 75 to 360 nutrient paste meals.
Cost increased from 120 to 320 steel.

S nutrient paste vat
Size: 1x1
Capacity 45 nutrient paste meals.
Cost: 80 steel.
Power: 75W.

L nutrient paste vat
Size: 3x3
Capacity 1215 nutrient paste meals.
Cost: 720 steel.
Power: 300W.

XL nutrient paste vat
Size: 4x4
Capacity 2880 nutrient paste meals.
Cost: 1280 steel.
Power: 600W.

XXL nutrient paste vat
Size: 5x5
Capacity 5625 nutrient paste meals.
Cost: 2000 steel.
Power: 1200W.

Mod Compatibility

Should have no compatibility issues with other mods, unless Vanilla Nutrient Paste Expanded have.

This mod is an unofficial addition for Vanilla Nutrient Paste Expanded.

Supported languages: English.

Add/Remove

Vanilla Nutrient Paste Expanded: Deep Vat mod should be safe to add to existing save. But when you want to remove it, better make backup save just in case.

Sumatris, paste feeder will spawn paste on top of itself and keep it, usually the most universal auto way to feed animals.

@Zerg: Thanks for the explanation. I guess I never even considered playing a colony without a regular food supply, and I rarely expand past 12-15 pawns. As for animals, can they use the dispenser? Or do I have to dispense manually and feed them the meals? The former would definitely be new (and helpful) to me ^^.

Sumatris, if a lot of pawns, including animals and prisoners; if you get raw food supply rarely, so you need to save it for long till next acquiring of raw food; if you not cooking at all. It less of a need for more paste and more of space efficiency, cause default ones can take a lot of space, while such big one will allow you to have way smaller food storage. Originally XL and XXL wasn't a thing, but eventually it was requested and become a thing. Depending on playstyle people pick either small ones or big ones.

I always appreciate mods like this one, but I gotta ask: who needs that much nutrient paste? I usually install 3-4 normal vats for emergencies and growth vat supply, but my pawns' meals still come from regular cooking most of the time. What sort of colony do you need to run to regularly require hundreds or even thousands of paste meals?

jtseyman, Additional questions will be, does this also happens when you make vat from VNPE itself without this mod? And do you maybe have other mods that might change something about contruction process? Technically speaking on it own sub mod like this shouldn't cause the issues, cause it xml only mod and there is no custom code that changes anything about VNPE itself. So the issues might be with compatability of other mod with VNPE vats on it own.

jtseyman, not really sure what VNPE issue you refering to and neither why you can't build them. So might need to explain a bit more for me to understand what you meant.

The vats in this mod seemed to have the same problem Vanilla nutrient paste expanded did. They don't have a thing class meaning I cannot build them save for the medium (original) one.

All I can say at the moment, that neither this nor original mod had any changes since last time I checked all compatabilities and issues.
