Nimbus Sans Typeable Text [4.27]

Description
Background
So-called "grotesque" or "Swiss" typefaces are like engines in cars, in that they first popped up in the late 19th century before exploding in popularity in the mid-20th century and have now become immeasurably common. (Whether that's a good or bad thing is up to you.) As such, despite the abundance of mod fonts, what I found the Workshop to be lacking in was a good old Swiss-style font.

Since Arial is a little off in places and Helvetica[en.wikipedia.org] is way out of my price range, I looked to a free alternative and found one in the form of a version of Nimbus Sans[en.wikipedia.org] that belongs to the "Core 35" family of Ghostscript fonts. These were released for free to ensure compatibility between Ghostscript and Adobe PostScript.

History lesson aside, this timeless typeface should add plenty of flair to your cars.

Usage Notes
  • In anticipation of a future update which will allow for decals and typeable text to be recoloured, white has been made the only available colour for non-badge text.

  • Nimbus Sans Regular
  • Nimbus Sans Bold

@darksideofthelamp Admittedly, I haven't tested it, but it should.
