Also my mod does not really use any special shenanigans or specific scripts or the like just standard settings of Stellaris as I wanted to avoid too much maintainance, so it's really hard to tell what the issue is.
@LAJ-47FC9 (Liara) Some of the shapes are not possible without letting something into the core, so unfortunately I don't know how to avoid this. Stellaris galaxy settings don't have that many parameters so handle, so you sometimes have to allow a little bit in the middle to make the shape even work.
no i know its capped at 2.5k i tried the 7k just to test and it did work to a degree as well
i tried to play at 2k 2.5k and 3k all worked for a bit but would crash randomly, usually when entering a solar system from galaxy map both newly discovered or one i have already been to before and panned in solar system view so i don't know how to pin/recreate this crash consistently, but this mod would also cause a ctd upon generating the galaxy upon a fresh start (sometimes). what the problem seems to be is either there's an issue with individual solar system generation or maybe a graphical issue linked to that or possibly a conflict with a mod i have but i don't see one that would specifically conflict with but here's the list if you know of a conflict you've maybe encountered before
More Home Systems - this one i believe could potentially be a conflict but game works completely fine when this mod is active solo or with the rest of the list

@Mr.TurboFister3000 Some are, some are not, Square shapes for example are artificial ;) But e.g. Dragontail, or SBa and SBc, Irregulars or Pulsar are inspired by nature. Cross, Snowflake are not, but according to the Infinite Monkey Theorem [en.wikipedia.org] it may be possible somewhere out there.
@Terminator: That's the idea of the cluster shapes. They are disjoint except for 1-2 hyperlanes. Real 2core galaxies are not possible with the game engine without creating a fully custom map, but those don't work really with RNG.
@snua@22 I use Giga and had no issues so far.
