Mechanitor's Weapons

Description
*This mod is remade from the old mod Recycled Mechanoid Arms in 1.3, and some new contents have been added. Both cannot be used at the same time.
* Made for prime mechanitors

The mechanoids has unlimited potential, which is the key to the next stage of our path to ascension. But my followers, my flesh and blood servants, even with more mechs protection, may still lose their lives under unexpected threats. As a mechanitor, I think it is necessary for me to use my knowledge and data to create something that can further protect them.

This mod adds a series of mechanoid weapon style weapons to fit the theme style of the mechanitor. Unlocking these weapons depends on the research of mechanoid technology rather than charge shot technology. The weapon may be stronger than the original charge weapon, but as a reward for defeating the mechanoid boss, I think it is worth it.

Some of these weapons

▲Mechanitor machine pistol: a responsive charge machine pistol.

▲Mechanitor assault rifle: an enhanced version of charge rifle with similar performance.

▲Mechanitor marksman rifle: a light accurate weapon with low damage and high penetration.

▲Mechanitor GPMG: provides strong suppressive fire.

▲Mechanitor anti material rifle: a powerful sniper rifle capable of shooting many types of targets at one shoot.

▲Mini charge railgun turret: a double barrel turret using high-speed armour piercing railguns, which can operate without additional power.

Compatibility

*Without the installation of Biotech DLC, the only way to make these weapons is to study charge shot tech. If you don't think it's interesting, maybe it's time to install Biotech.

*Incompatible with old mod recycled mechanoid weapons and you can only choose one of two (this one is recommended, and the old mod may not be updated).

*Compatible with Muzzle Flash I've separately drawn the muzzle flash of some charge weapons and applied them to the vast majority of weapons in this mod.


*Fully CE compatible, see below.

CE

*In CE, these weapons all use mechanoid ammo and correspond to their settings (refer to the preview). At present, they include: 5x16mm, 5x35mm ,5x50mm(needle gun), 6x22mm, 8x40mm, 12x64mm. The 1.4 CE provides the mechanitors with the recipe of these ammo, but it still needs to study the technology of Charge Shot before making them. This means that these weapons acquired in the early stage can only acquire ammunition in other ways, such as capturing 5x35, 6x22 and 12x64 from the enemy mechanoids(depending on the weapon configuration of the mechanoid in the mod you subscribe to).

*In addition, there is only one type of mechanoid ammunition, so you cannot use these weapons to fire focused ammo or ion ammo.

When I try to use this mod with CE I get a blank stat page, is it normal?

i had the github CE downloaded and it made my modlist choke and die, i would have just quit rimworld if i cant use my anti material rifle, it works now

try re-subscribing to CE, if there are still problems, I have no idea.
tried unsubscribing and subscribing and only launched the game with 1.5 CE and this mod, its still stuck in vanilla :(

@wildlife documentary reporter I'm not sure why this happens. After several tests, it didn't happen to me. First, only start this mod and ce (if you subscribe). If it works, try to check if there is a mod sorting problem and error. If it still can't be solved, you can only use binary search to check if there is a mod conflict.
The Weapons are stuck in some weird limbo between CE and Vanilla, like anti material rifle having what im assuming is short vanilla range, but still has the aiming and one shot properties? The descriptions of the weapons are also empty, am i doing smth wrong

@Rondson At present, I only have the weapons in mind. As for armor, I personally think that some other mods have already provided similar items (such as Mechanoid Bench 3), so there is no demand or design motivation in this regard for the time being. Maybe there will be in the future, idk
