Pokemon TCG: Base Set Remastered

Description
What is Base Set Remastered
Base Set Remastered is an attempt to bring modern design principles back to the 1996 card game - specifically, the "Gameboy Format" of Base Set - Jungle - Fossil. Almost all Pokemon cards have been redesigned and rebalanced. Supporters were re-introduced to stop decks from accessing infinite resources. Special Conditions were redesigned to be more lore-friendly and have more impact on the game. More subtle changes, like increasing the amount of
Colorless costs were included to make deckbuilding more fun and varied.

How To Play
Standard rules of Pokemon TCG apply, unless specified otherwise.
Going First
Players choose which one goes first before starting the game. The player going first can either play a Supporter card or Attack, but not both.
Special Conditions
All effects, including Special Conditions (with one exception), remain on the Pokemon in play, even if it is switched, evolved or devolved.
Paralysis: A Pokemon affected by Paralysis cannot attack, but can retreat. At the end of your turn, remove Paralysis from all of your affected Pokemon.
Poisoned: A Pokemon affected by Poison takes 10 damage at the end of your turn, if it is in your Active Spot.
Asleep: A Pokemon affected by Sleep cannot attack, but can retreat. At the end of your turn, flip a coin for each of your Sleeping Pokemon. If heads, this Pokemon recovers from Sleeping.
Confused: The owner of the Pokemon affected by Confusion must flip a coin whenever it tries to attack. If tails, it deals 10 damage to itself instead. This Special Condition is removed if the Confused Pokemon leaves the Active Spot.
Abilities
To broaden the design space of Abilities and promote more interesting board states, a global rules states that "Abilities with the same name do not multiply". Passive Abilities only apply once, and Active Abilities with the same name can only be activated once per name.
