This old version has been renamed into an alternative persona of him, Park Chung-hee (Yushin). I will strongly suggest to try out the reworked version: it is more fun to play (hopefully) and is more in line with his historical image. Enjoy! :)

Introduces Park Chung-hee, the authoritarian leader of Korea.

Park was the 5th to 9th President of South Korea, from 1963 to 1979, and the de-facto leader after the May-16th Coup in 1961, from 1961 to 1963. He is one of the highest-rated President in the history of South Korea, for him beginning a series of economic reforms that eventually lifted South Korea out of poverty and led to rapid economic growth and industrialization, now known as the Miracle on the Han River. He is also criticized for his authoritarianism and dictatorship, suppressing democratic movements and ignoring labor rights.

On 10 October 1972, Park Chung-hee created the so-called "Yushin Constitution" so that he could be re-elected as many times as he wanted, without any challengers, creating the 4th Republic of South Korea. The Yushin system will last all the way to his assassination in 1979, and further extended by years before another authoritarian President Chun Doo-hwan abolished the system and created his own in 1981. This persona is meant to reflect President Park Chung-hee's policies during this era.

He leads the Korean Civilization in-game.

+100% Production when constructing Industrial Zones, Aqueducts, Dams, and all buildings within these districts. Cities with an Industrial Zone receive -1 Amenities. Industrial buildings receive +30% of their base yields, and cities with a factory receive +4 Gold from international trade routes.

Will emphasize on Production. Likes Civilizations with high Production. Dislikes Civilizations with low Production.
