The A-23A-4 “Dingo”
Ihzair had started building up their naval strength for a while, and when Oceania looked back at their own navy, it was like a toy truck up against a full-on monster truck. While most of the Oceanian military leaders said it was fine and that no-one would dare invade such a mighty kingdom, a few Oceanian military leaders knew they badly needed a better military.

These smart Oceanian military leaders tried getting orders out for newer equipment, but all attempts were shut down. Not willing to back down, the preppers offered to pay out-of-pocket for equipment “just in case” of invasion or any other conflict in the Western Territories. When they were given the “OK”, it was clear that they couldn’t afford a decent fleet, so they went to the next best thing: a few squadrons of anti-ship attack aircraft.

One of the few companies to actually take the challenge was the up-and-coming Northern Aviation, who really needed money or else they would go bankrupt. They presented the A-23A-1, a twin-engined attack aircraft with the ability to carry six 100kg bombs, torpedoes, range-adding “drop tanks”, and a quartet of 20mm autocannons.

It wasn’t the best. The engine was unreliable and overheated easily, the rudder was absolutely terrible, and it was a pain in the rear to repair. Bad reports came flooding in, and to save their reputation and their maybe money-making airframe, Northern Aviation went straight to work on fixing their plane.

A massive air swoop was added under each of the new engines, the rudder was re-designed, and lots of maintenance hatches were added across the aircraft. The new version of the A-23A-1 rolled off of the assembly line as the A-23A-4 and completed the order for an anti-ship attack aircraft.

With amazing handling, weaponry, and flight characteristics, the “just in case” anti-ship attacker became one of the only things between the Western Territories and complete Ihzairi domination when fighting broke out, and it gave one heck of a fight.

This is def. One of the most pleasant planes I have flown in this game, easy steering, working alt holder. One of the most accurate bombing sights ever and light + heavy versions having capabilities of attaching fuel tanks and torpedoes with simple copy and paste.
Loving it!

Flying without droptanks=
Valve Switch OFF
Fuel Pumps ON

You want the fuel valve switch off unless you have fuel tanks. It should state in parenthesis that it's for droptanks

fuel valve switch and pumps were on always (i did not have fuel tanks)

Make sure that you do not have the fuel valve switch switch on unless you have fuel tanks. Keep the pumps on at all times!
Other people have had "engine dying while flying" incidents, but that's because they flipped the wrong switch or turned on something on that should be off

the engine dies as soon as i take off.
