Description
Can store 50 units(5 cans) of petrol. It is a simple mod that gives you the oportunity to empty petrol cans into a larger storage. You can fill/siphon gas from cars with the barrell as you do with an ordinary petrol can only it has a a lot higher capacity - you can also transer fuel back to petrol cans from the barrel .... but the bad side is that when the barrel gets totally empty it will morph into a non drainable object so you need to refill it from the petrol cans again.

It is a bit clunky mechanic but it won't waste any petrol or create it magically. I made this because Fuel API is good and all but buggy and gives you too many opportunities to cheat with it.

Works in SP and MP and with existing saves!

Can i find the barrel in the world or do i need to craft it?

Few weeks ago I was able to fill a fuel barrel.
Then I changed the mods load orders and it works no more.

So, it seems the mod works if load order is correct, regarding other mods that may conflict.

@Rooster Maybe the error is an interaction with the "fuel api" mod

I'm having the same issue as @Rooster I can only move and place the barrels. I have 5 full fuel canisters on the ground next to the barrels and the only option I get is to refuel my lighter. Now I'm not above admitting I'm probably doing something wrong so if anyone is also running into this issue and has resolved it I would appreciate a solution. Thanks!

We can't interact with these on our server for some reason. I can only move and place them.

any chance you could incorporate this mod in: https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2765042813 which adds a diesel fuel alternative. It has a compatibility with the mod that @hippa mentioned but doesn't seem to function correctly. If that worked correctly, it gives the ability (via sandbox) for barrels to hold up to 400 units.
