"The SAPSR-6, also known as the Precision Scout Rifle or PSR, is part of a series of bolt-action centerfire rifles manufactured by Sevine Arms based on designs of rifles used by hunters on the colony planet of Reach. It is chambered in .308 Winchester or 7.62 NATO and features a 15-round detachable box magazine. This rifle is known for its exceptional accuracy and reliability. Its sleek design and lightweight construction make it a favorite among sharpshooters and hunters alike. The rifle features a top mounted Picatinny rail system for attaching scopes and other accessories, allowing users to tailor it to their individual shooting needs. This mod replaces the CSS Scout Rifle in L4D2 with the SAPSR-6/ PSR from Halo Lore. It comes with custom models, textures, and animations recreated by myself. This mod is tested and works for online play in Left 4 Dead 2.
Replaces the HUD icon.
Includes Inspection animations and Holster animations.
Includes Run and Walking animations that change based on player speed.
Includes Fidget animations that play at random when idle or walking.
Includes Halo:Reach style Muzzle particles.

@Fozzy Nope. from the Halo:reach alpha build as a prop and I took the designs and commissioned my friend to make a game ready first person asset for L4D2

@Bobbyboy if the model has some missing textures, it's because you do not have the required shared materials mod downloaded. if the entire model itself fails to load, it could be a L4D2 issue which i suggest validating game files.

hey there, for me the mod isnt working. the weapon shape, or shadow, or outline (sorry dont know what to call it).
over the ammo counter is working. but the actual model of the rifle is not working for me.

I have a Huawei laptop, 8g ram, 128 v-ram, i3 10th gen proc. Recommended settings are Medium. Hahahaha, I guess Ill try it and hope it goes well.

@CrimsonRam exactly so. I know it'll be enabled depending on the texture settings in your L4D2 video settings or the shader settings. one of the two or both. as it shuts off certain shaders so the game runs better on certain computers. but if your computer can handle L4D2 at medium, high, or very high settings, doing so will have it look as intended.

@Adorabirb! thanks man, I looked it up and it's a bit of work to get it done.

Correct me if I'm mistaken but this site gives instructions on how to do it. Is this how you mean when enabling cubemaps?

@CrimsonRam enable cubemaps. which shows up on medium to ultra high video settings in the shaders. as it enables stuff like phong, cubemaps, specular maps, and so on. basically what makes the models look as they are intended.

the reason it's black is a shader trick for the game to have the metal be represented entirely by the cubemaps cause if I didn't make it black. you would see grey with a weird shine blended in instead of a hard chromatic finish.

hi, just wanna ask, how do you get the bolt handle shiny? what i have is a very dark colored black, nothing like the pics shown. thanks.
