Description

Part of the Skaven Clans mod series.

Clan Feesik update!
The weakest and the least amonst the Pestilent Brotherhood, Clan Feesik is nothing more than a thrall of Clan Pestilens, beholden to them for all that they are, and to the entire Brotherhood for anything beyond the most basic of supplies. But they have brought their Pox Cauldrons and their Pusbags, and with supplies that no other clan would envy, they shall conquer in the name of Clan Pestilens.

The Skaven of Clan Pestilens bear corruption and disease as a sign of their dedication to all that is foul. They have risen from the nameless band that penetrated the jungles of Lustria, the majority of its members succumbing to the tropical disease running rampant through the Lizardmens' realm, until the last remaining Skaven sealed their pact with a new god. They embraced their own new plagues and maladies as gifts, sicknesses so vile that they were able to shrug off the jungle-born plagues with ease.

The Pestilent Brotherhood is the over-arching Skaven religious sect founded by Clan Pestilens, consisting of themselves and their many thrall clans. The brotherhood worships the Horned Rat in his aspect as the spreader of disease and decay, and they seek to seed the Horned One's diseases throughout the mortal world, ultimately paving the way for the Great Ascendancy of the Skaven race and its god, in this case via four new playable clans, all of whom utilize the special Bubonic Court army list released in the Lustria campaign book, along with a few other loreful additions.

Pestilent Brotherhood Factions IE
  • Clan Pestilens - From the infested ruins of Oyxl, Lord Skrolk spreads the plagues of Pestilens throughout Lustria's heartlands.
  • Bubonic Court of Nurglitch - Sitting atop the Altar of the Horned Rat, Nurglitch and his Bubonic Court plot to win the third Skaven Civil War.
  • Clan Morbidus - Having stolen the Temple Avenue of Gold from the Lizardmen, Arch Pontifex Sitch hunts for greater treasures in the Southlands.
  • Clan Septik - With eyes focused on the north from the Altar of Ultimate Darkness, Grrzk Roteye seeks a secure base in Naggarond from which to conquer the foul Dark Elves.
  • Clan Skrat - Nestled in the plague-infested ruins of the Dusk Peaks, Poxtooth schemes his next assault on the Cult of Sotek and the Lizardmen.
  • Clan Fester - From the ruined depths of Karak Azgaraz, Skarrik Spinemanglr and his horde of corrupted ratmen swear death to the Empire of Man. Requires Rotblood Tribe for many campaign features.

Pestilent Brotherhood Factions RoC
  • Bubonic Court of Nurglitch - Concocting foul plagues beneath the Jade Wind Mountain, Nurglitch seeks to unleash his pestilential might upon unsuspecting Cathay.
  • Clan Morbidus - Hidden beneath the mountains of Grim Duraz, Arch Pontifex Sitch turns his greedy eyes on the port city of Marienburg and the man-thing Empire.

Pestilent Brotherhood Factions The Old World
  • Clan Feesik - As a thrall clan to Pestilens, Clan Feesik has little independence or resources. Only by the most cagey tactics and snivelling kowtowing to their betters can they hope to survive. Unique to The Old World. Only in Skaven Clans compilation.
  • The Pestilent Brotherhood - All members of the Pestilent Brotherhood are available in The Old World campaign. Only in Skaven Clans compilation.

What's Included
  • The Pestilent Army - 6 Legendary Lords, 5 semi-legendary lords, 2 generic lords, 2 generic characters, 13 units, 13 RoRs, and 3 new mounts, all taken from various aspects of Clan Pestilens lore, completely change how the most bilious force of all fights. In addition, many normal Skaven units are no longer available to the Pestilent Brotherhood.
  • Seven Playable Factions - Spread across Lustria, the Southlands, and Naggaroth, the Pestilent Brotherhood brings its infective malignancy to almost every corner of the Warhammer universe, with each one having unique campaign victory objectives. It also revamps Clan Pestilens to use the Bubonic Court roster, rather than the standard Skaven roster.
  • Custom Mechanics -
    • Plague Cauldron - Nurgle's Plague Cauldron has made its way over to the Pestilent Brotherhood, with their own unique recipes and base plague, perfect for befouling your neighbours.
    • Summon the Plague Lords - Special technologies allow the recruitment of six of the seven Grand Plague Lords of the Bubonic Court (Lord Skrolk is the seventh, and he's busy running the rest of Clan Pestilens). Bubonic Court of Nurglitch only.
    • The Surfacing of Clan Gangrous - 2 units, 1 RoR, and 1 LL arise from the Underempire, but only if you work to expand your pestilent undercities and the forces recruited from them.
    • Unite the Clan - Nurglitch is given a choice to recall Clan Pestilens and Skrolk, or continue to let them venture forth on their own.
    • Reinforce the Brotherhood - The Pestilent Brotherhood starts with diplomatic relations to all members of the cadre (Pestilens, Bubonic Court, Morbidus, Skrat, Septik), and effects that tie them closely together. The Bubonic Court and Clan Morbidus can also open early relations with other members of the Council of Thirteen.
    • Divide the Brotherhood - Arch Pontifex Sitch has long contemplated tying his fate to Moulder and Verminkin instead of Nurglitch. He can choose to unite the Pestilent Brotherhood, or declare war on it. Clan Morbidus only.
    • Summon the Rotbloods - Rotblood Tribe: Armies from the Rotblood Tribe can be purchased with warpstone, and cities gifted to the Norscan for a reward. Clan Fester only.
    • Skittergate - Created by Clan Fester and shared with the Rotblood Tribe, the Skittergate allows armies to teleport across the map... for a price. Clan Fester only.
    • Beseech the Brotherhood - Clan Feesik must purchase supplies from the other members of the Brotherhood, being too weak to create them on their own. Clan Feesik only.
    • It's a Thrall-Knock Life - Clan Feesik gains benefits when their master, Clan Pestilens, declares or continues a war. Clan Feesik only.
