Gleapling

Description
"A short while before Earth was destroyed some peculiar creatures began to infest the universe. They had the characteristics of Gleap's, but the body of a human. These creatures were dubbed "Gleapling" and only continued to expand to other planets..."

And now *YOU* can infest your universe with them!

Gleapling hop around like normal Gleap but can be found throughout the universe in a variety of different colors and abilities. You can also catch them with capture pods if you want a bouncy boy to fight alongside you.
Gleapling with different abilities effect you on-hit so keep your distance if you don't want to get effected by their status effects.
The Gleapling species is based on what planet and biome you're in.

This mod features:
- A new monster type, Gleapling (and it's variants).
- VERY rare Gleapling variants that have an incredibly low chance to spawn. (Gleapling variants DO NOT have any special drops, they are cosmetically different.)
- Action Figures! All Gleapling have a very low chance to drop an action figure.
- LORE BOOKS!! Find them in containers around the universe.

Tooooo many books are spawned, like I got 8 books from 1 dungeon. Fix it pls

Still looking forward to the playable Gleapling race mod that you mentioned a while back. Just wanted to let you know. :btd6thumbsup:

Honestly not sure why so many people have having so much trouble with the rare Gleaplings... they don't hit that har- dies ... Nevermind.

More importantly, I just looted about 10 worlds in a row (using a mod that auto-loots chests as I get close to them) and after only covering the very surface layer of each world I have no less than 14 gleapling lore books.

On the one hand, that's free money, but... on the other - wow. Loot table be like "so I heard you like them lore books... I got somethin' here ya might like."

ok, slight issue with removing this mod, if a planet has gleaplings spawn on it, dont, just dont, the removal of this mod caused the game to crash every time i touched a backround object, adding the mod back seems to have fixed it though, so thats something

an inteteresting mod, saddly they 2 shot any npc with 1 bl3 health bar, even then the 1 shot a bl shield of 77 hp, blue and red variants

please i'm begging you to reduce the spawn rate of the codex books

Suggestion: Reduce the spawn rate of Gleapling codex books by about 50%.

Fun mod, definitely adds some challenge to the game, and spawns a few ideas for future mods I might want to tackle... but cleaning my inventory of books is quite a hassle these days, and it seems like the books from this mod are by far the most common. Maybe an add-on mod that changes the spawn rate?

Ngl, thought this was a gleapling race mod for a second. Still pretty cool though.
